it had gotten dark and the friends had started a fire, the boys cooked dinner while the girls went on a beer run.
"yo rudy, did you ever ask out quin?" jd asked
"nah, i tried to but i overheard her on the phone with some guy she's seeing so i backed off" rudy explained.
"she's seeing someone? because i talked to her and it seemed like she was upset you didn't ask her out" jonathan shrugged.
"yeah man, she was calling him baby and telling him she wanted him to come visit her" rudy retold "that's why i went for nia, to try to get over quin but-"
"but nia's an insufferable bitch?" austin interrupted.
"i would have used nicer language but uh... yeah basically" rudy laughed "im done with nia, i just need to find another way to get over quin".
the girls arrived and joined the boys, by the end of the night; rudy and quin went on a walk together.
"look, i wanna apologize for asking out nia" rudy began "i was never into her, it wasn't cool of me"
"it's cool" quin shrugged "i just want you to be happy rudes".
"you really scared me today" rudy became solemn "it actually made nia mad that i was concerned for you"
"oh, well i'm sorry" quin lied.
"i'm not" rudy shook his head "you're far more important to me than she is".
