Eventually Ignacio returned. "I dropped it off at his house." He said. "Are you sure this is the right way to go about this?"

Lalo rolled his eyes. "It'll be fine nachito. You worry too much." He assured him. "Now. What to do with you." He grinned as he walked back over to me.

He untied me and held out his hand. "You hungry?" He asked. I nodded and took his hand. As we walked toward the door he didn't let go. His thumb gently caressed the back of my hand. A warm feeling grew in me. He kept glancing over at me with a smirk on his face. We stopped at the door while he pulled something out of his pocket.

"Again?" I asked, annoyed at the blindfold.

"One last time, I promise." He assured me.

"Where are we going this time?"

"It's a surprise. Trust me you'll love it." He said while putting the blindfold on me.

He guided me out to a vehicle but it wasn't the van. We drove for what felt like forever before he took the blindfold off. It was dark outside. We sat in silence the rest of the way. It was a comfortable silence. I felt sorta safe with him.

Soon we arrived at a giant gate with men standing outside of it. They were holding guns. Lalo must've seen the nervousness on my face because he lightly nudged my arm with a smile. "Hey, it's ok. If I was gonna kill you, you'd be dead already." He said as he winked at me.

"Wow you're so sweet." I said sarcastically while rolling my eyes. He laughed as he drove in. His laugh sounded so pure and almost innocent.

We pulled up to a huge house. I was in awe. He studied my face for a moment. "So, what do you think?" He asked.

"It's beautiful." My eyes were wide with disbelief. "This is your place?" I asked.

"For the moment. Just while I'm in town. You should see my home in mexico. It's almost as beautiful as you." He replied with a grin. He stared into my eyes.

I broke eye contact when my face started to heat up. He chuckled at the sight of me blushing. He got out and walked around to open my door.

"Thanks." I said. He held his hand out for me again. And again I took it. I don't know why but It was almost magnetic to be this close to him. I'm not sure how else to describe it. All I know is I like how it felt.

We walked through the giant doors. It was even more beautiful on the inside. You could tell everything was expensive by how luxurious it looked.

He stood behind me while he took off my sweater. Suddenly I felt him moving my hair to the side, exposing my neck. The strap of my tank top had fallen off my shoulder. He gently pulled it back up, while gliding his fingertips against my skin. I could feel how close he was to me.

He walked around to face me. I studied his face, trying to read his expression. It was serious. Almost, lustful. I gave him a wary look. "What?" I asked. He moved closer to me and slid his hand against the side of my face. His thumb slowly moved toward my lips and brushed against them. My lips parted. He smirked. Our faces were now inches away. Is he about to kiss me?

*Ring Ring* *Ring Ring* His phone started to go off. An annoyed look overtook his face as his hand fell from mine. He answered his phone, "What." His voice is cold as Ice. And in an instant a smug smile grew on his face. "Michael! So nice of you to call." ... "Relax, she's fine. Here I'll put you on speaker." He mouthed the word "annoying" while rolling his eyes and putting it on speaker.

"Hey pop pop." Lalo snickered at the name. I swiftly smacked his arm and glared.

"Hey kid you alright? Did he hurt you?" He said frantically.

"No he didn't hurt me. I'm alright, I promise." I assured him.

"Listen. I'm gonna find you and get you, ok? Then I'll explain everything. Until then you just do what they say."

"Ok I will."

"I love you kid. Everything's gonna be alright."

"Love you too." I handed the phone back to Lalo. I felt like I was about to start crying. I missed my family. Then my sadness turned into anger. Why did he have to take me? This is all bullshit.

Lalo took the phone off speaker and told pop pop where to meet him. I guess we go tomorrow at something called a dead drop. "Bye pop pop." He said in a teasing voice and hung up the phone. "So, where were we?" He asked while moving a strand of hair out of my face.

"You were about to get us food." I said in a bitchy tone. I was so mesmerized by his beauty this whole time that I didn't realize how fucked this all was.

He stared into my eyes as if trying to read them. I studied his too. Confusion and a tinge of sadness took his eyes for just a second. He chirped back up and said, "How about I make us some carne asada tacos, while you find a movie for us to watch."

"Great." I walked toward the living room and sat down. I searched through channels to find something. Soon enough he came back, placed out plates on the coffee table in front of us, and sat right next to me.
"There's other spots you know." I said while keeping my eyes glued to the tv. I picked the movie Fight club.

"Yeah, but I'd much rather sit next to you." He grabbed his plate and started eating. He stopped once he noticed I hadn't touched my food yet. "And here I thought you trusted me. I didn't poison your food y/n. Now, eat."

I thought for a moment before digging in. I must've been eating fast, because I heard him chuckle beside me. We finished our food and watched the movie. Since he decided to sit so close, our legs were touching. I swear I could literally feel electricity coming off us. He moved his arm and placed it on the edge of the couch around me. His fingers would slightly brush against my arm now and then. It was comforting.

I was so at peace, I started to get really tired. I began thinking of tomorrow and getting to see my family. But a part of me was a little sad to leave Lalo. What's wrong with me? My eyes couldn't stay open, as I tried to fight sleep. I swear I could hear him kiss my head and saying "Good night mi amor." Maybe I'm dreaming
