Taheera heavily ascended upstairs to her room and locked the door. She cried her eyes out, shivering and sobbing. Instantly she started to think back of the biggest betrayal she has got from her own blood sister while she continues to cry like a mad woman.

After some minutes she stood up and rambled to the toilet and perform ablution then came out quietly yet slowly to her closet and took her hijab and started praying. After she prayed her Isha salat she folded her legs sitting on the praying mat, her eyes are as red as a cherry tomatoes, her face got swollen. She brought up her two palms together seeking for Allah’s Mercy and guidance because she knows if not for that she would have already been an evil person towards farida and Azaan.

After she finished praying, she took off her hijab and folded it neatly just like the way she brought it out from her closet. Along the way she got a call from nurain.

Hey riena” he called through the phone

Hi” she said her voice sounding so down and poor like a hilly land near the sea

What’s wrong taheera? Did you cry?” he asked randomly with so much worry and concern

Nurain I don’t know what to do anymore, I don’t know if hating farida will be the end of my sorrow or killing her” she sobbed deeply with an oppressive sigh then continued

I don’t know if any of these will be the end of Faridah or my sorrow nurain. I wish I could die right away, and I also wish both Azaan and Faridah will perish from my sight…no! Perish from the world”. She kept mum for a while and gasped seeking for air, she straighten her hands to the bedside table bringing out her seretide inhaler

Nurain gasped quietly  by hearing the sound of the inhaler, he has been doubting about her health since, she'd always pants and have difficult breathing. Sometimes she even get a voice break but still he pretended not to know until she find the right time to tell him. And today that sound finally cleared his doubt.

Nurain didn’t say a single word because he knows right at that moment she only needs to be heard, she’s been holding things even though she knows it hurt, she has been strong for a while but she couldn’t hold on anymore now and that’s why he kept quiet all the time and that also gave her the courage of spilling out everything.

Do you know that Azaan was supposed to marry me but betrayed me because of his feelings for farida, he dated farida behind my back and that foolish girl accepted him as her lover” she swallowed her saliva and panted a bit then proceeded

Even so their conversation was on the phone but nurain couldn’t cut out the pain he’s feeling for her. He knows there are many things that aren’t easy to handle but still she gave her sister a second chance and got betrayed once again.

They plotted the most trickacble game against me and made me the bad guy of the story…Azaan told my dad that I have been giving him attitude just because I never want the wedding to happen and at one stroke I called it off”

And for the very first time nurain gasped enough for her hear, he brought his phone to his face looking at it wondering what did she ever do to deserve such heartbreak

And you never told anyone the truth? Why would you hurt yourself like that taheera? Why would you endure such evil taunt and threat taheera?”

What do you expect me to do when khalifa already replaced me with farida the night Azaan’s uncles told him that I called off my own wedding…khalifa isn’t the kind of person whom you can change his mind by explaining things nurain, he does what he feels it’s right”

You know sometimes you will feel like to hold everything within and never let it out, not because you are scared but because you don’t want to be shattered” he heartily exhale

I once had a girlfriend Muneera whom I love so much and one day i…I introduced her to my one and only best friend but got deceived. They dated for a very good two years behind my back and the day I caught them together was when I came back from class to saleem's dorm and I heard them talking about abortion” he chuckled softly and told her the part that got her body tremble and frightened

“they plan to pined the pregnancy on me since she didn’t agree to have the abortion…and Saleem Abu-Bakr was the guy”

You knew Saleem?” she shockingly asked. Yes I do, we used to be friends back in the days” but why didn’t you guys…”   “because we aren’t friends anymore” he cutted her. Well she was so shocked as expected, like how could they be friends

“it’s a small world dear and they aren’t friends anymore”

But you never reacted the day you saw us together…you were so calm and gentle, infact you even shake hands with him” she’s still in collision

“Yeah. And till now I still didn’t get why I take a chill pill that day, or maybe because of you”

“Want to know about Saleem and I?...I mean our story” she blurted out of the blues

“i know he betrayed you…but I won’t mind if you tell” he chuckled not expecting to even make her smile but fortunately she laughed heartily and that made him the happiest man of the moment.

She told him so much about Saleem, the beautiful moments she had with him, the bad, and the worse ones too. She told him how they parted ways, the Long messages and how she started to date and trust someone again.

One thing that nurain loves the most about her is that she’s always honest, she would always tell the truth despite what ever action will follow. He learned that taheera is a woman of a lovable character, she’s so distinct in every possible aspect.

How do you feel now? you spieled everything?”

At first she thought he was just kidding, asking her random questions but now she get it, she understands that all this while that she’s been talking he was listening to her without objecting or calming her down, he was listening to her talk, her sobs, her secrets, her weakness, her broken voice and her broken heart.

You heard everything now, no more secrets to keep from you, you know my weakness, how I cry, what I said whenever I got furious…but I am relieved, I am cool now, I feel like everything is washed and flushed away, I don’t think I have any regrets now…so thank you, thank you so very much for listening and crying out with me, you never judged me even though I said so many evil taunt to my sister thank you”

She sighed and this time it’s a sighed of relief and happiness, sighed of someone is here for me, sighed of I finally have a shoulder to lean on.

Whatever you did, you did it for you to feel ease and nothing more, and besides you never said any evil taunt because they deserve it…and I will always side with you my love”

He finally confess.

Nurain finally confess!!!! Can't wait to see what happen next
