5. SUPRISE!

"I'm coming!"

I yell out as I walk towards my front door.

I get to the door and unlock it, seeing who's there I drown my face expecting someone else.

"Hey. Uhm what are you doing here?"

"You look disappointed to see me. Were you expecting someone else?"

"Uhm no..I'm just surprised to see you here that's all."

"Right, soooo can I come in or are you just going to let this conversation go on from the front door?"

"Yea I'm sorry, come in."

I say as I gesture my hand towards the living room.

"What brings you here?"

I ask him as his eyes dart straight towards the half vodka bottle.

"You uh been drinking?"

"I mean I had a shot so I wouldn't say I've been drinking."

"Okay."

"Did you drive 30 minutes just to ask me if I've been drinking...Kai?"

"No you forgot your purse in my car."

He says as he throws up a red purse.

"Kai that's not my purse."

"You sure because I could've swore that you left it in my car."

"Nooo I have my purse, but thanks for looking out."

"Yea if I'm being honest I just wanted to see you."

"I just saw you like 20 minutes ago."

I scoff and laugh at the same time.

Before he could get a word out we hear another knock at the door which causes us to both divert our eyes to the door.

"I'm so popular today!"

I say as I walk towards the door throwing my hands around.

Opening the door I'm surprised to see a chocolate man standing at my door.

"Hey."

I say with a bright smile.

"Heyy, I brought you gummy bears."

He says as he brings up the bag.

"Gummy bears? Did you read my mind?"

I say laughing as I inviting him in completely forgetting that Kai was also here.

"Ight so what we doing."

"Yo."

Kai says as he waves his hand towards Spencer.

"Yo uhh and you are?"

He says he points towards him.

"Kailah, or Kai."

"Andre."

"Yea i know who you are."

"Damn okay, so did I interrupt something or you jus standing there."

"No you didn't interrupt anything me and Kai were just talking."

He looks at me looking disappointed as if I'm wrong.

"Right if that's all y'all we're doin then I actually came here to hang out. I was thinking maybe we'll make some food and then watch a movie?"

Spencer asks me not caring that Kai is next to him.
