I'm so so sorry for the wait, I know it's been a long time since I last updated, my life kind of fell apart for a while and writing had to take a back seat in the face of some pretty bad life difficulties and mental health issues. I'm on the mend now though and have less on my plate, so it'll be far easier to prioritise getting chapters written and updated going forward. I held off on posting this author's apology until I could post the Above Snakes chapters at the same time (didn't want to give false hope for a new chapter only to hit you all with an author's note lol)
I wanted to get the next chapter right, both the smutty and non-smutty version of it, and whilst I'm not 100% happy with my writing of the smutty scenes I'm hoping it will be good enough to have been worth the wait :)
The chapter after Above Snakes is already written, it just needs proofreading and editing, so that one should be out relatively soon :)
