After only an hour of streaming, Dontai began to grow restless, he was playing Smite, his favorite video game. It was a MOBA similar to League of Legends, except it was in third person. He had just finished his second ranked game, and both of them were hard fought wins.

"Chat I am fucking exhausted honestly," Dontai said as he took off his headset, "that fucking Pele was on my ass, nigga, that shit was way too annoying." He checked his phone, and sure enough, Kaylah messaged him. He couldn't help but to smile as he unlocked his phone and opened iMessage.

Kaylah: Heeey Dontai, you called me earlier?

Dontai had in fact called her, but he quickly hung up the phone. It took him a few minutes to even try to call her, and by the first ring he quickly hung up. He didn't know if calling her phone would have been rude or weird, considering he had just gotten her number. In addition to that, the only other time he texted her was when she sent him her address. Dontai pushed all those thoughts to the side and responded to her message.

Dontai: Yeah I did, it was an accident💀 but now that I got you here I had a question.

Within seconds, Kaylah responded.

Kaylah: What is it?☺️

Dontai stared at the emoji and tried his hardest to hold in a smile. He had a thing for polite women and the emoji gave him that vibe.

Dontai: Well...I'm not sure if you're aware, but me and you went viral 🤦🏾‍♂️ someone sent pictures of us together at the mall to the shade room and now my fans wanna see you on stream.

Kaylah: Wait what? 😂 so they think we're dating? Lmao that's hilarious, well do you want me on stream?

Dontai thought about it. He rarely streamed with other people, the last time he recalled doing it is when he streamed his 24th birthday. Dontai smiled thinking about that day, not only was it his highest viewed stream, it also broke the record for most viewers on a single stream. He broke down in tears when his friends told him, which got him even more viewers. Dontai sighed and began to type.

Dontai: I wouldn't mind, it's up to you.

Again, Kaylah responded within seconds.

Kaylah: I would LOVE to, as a matter of fact, what are you up to? You should come out tonight with me and my friend to get a few drinks, we can talk about the stream too🙂

Dontai immediately became disinterested. He had seen this same routine over and over again. He meets a girl, she realizes who he is, they exchange numbers, they decide to link, and she shows up with a bunch of other friends to run the tab up on him.

He wasn't having it.

Dontai: Ughhh, I'm not too sure about that, I'm not too comfortable drinking unless I'm indoors at like a friend's place...or much preferably my place, I got all sorts of liquor here.

This was what he said whenever he was fishing for women who weren't just looking to get drunk on his dime, it usually worked because nobody would be interested in that, but Kaylah was different.

Kaylah: That's understandable, with all that other drama with the shade room that's the last thing you need right now☺️ I would love to come over if that made you feel a bit more comfortable.

Dontai raised an eyebrow, this was different.

Dontai: Um...sure, why not? You can bring your friend too if that would make you comfortable as well.

Kaylah: 🤭 Oh my god you read my mind, okay we'll be there, what's your address?

Dontai frowned, he didn't wanna be rude, but he didn't give his address out to people. Safety reasons obviously.
