Kendra couldn't help but to laugh at the look on Dontai's face.

"Oh baby," Kendra said with a smile, "don't make faces like that, didn't your mom tell you that they'd stay stuck like that?" Dontai began to hyperventilate and she laughed even harder.

"Kendra!" Kaylah shouted, "can you stop? I think he's having a fucking panic attack." Kaylah got up and walked around the island to try and get him to calm down. Kendra sighed and looked at him, he was starting to run his fingers through his hair, something that he always did in high school whenever she would torment him. The difference now was the panic attacks, she had never seen him do that before.

"Y-y-you, why, what the f-fuck!? Why are y-you...oh my god I think I'm dying," Dontai said as he poured himself some of the Jack Daniel's. His hands were shaking so some of it didn't quite make it into the glass. Kaylah reached across the island, grabbing some paper towels.

"Dontai," she said while rubbing his back, "I promise you, you are not dying, I just need you to breathe for me, do you thi-" She was quickly cutoff as Dontai interrupted her.

"Breathe!? Are you f-fucking kidding me?" He asked. He pointed at Kendra and shouted, "You see her? That woman is the DEVIL, she is fucking evil, whoever you think she is is a fucking LIE." Kendra scoffed, she had no idea who the fuck he was referring to. She stood up and walked around the island to get closer to Dontai.

"First of all nigga," she said while crossing her arms, "If anybody is a fucking liar it is definetly-" Dontai stood up and glared at her. She looked up at him, and for the first time in her life, she truly felt afraid of a man. His jaw was clenched and his eyes were wide, it looked like he was about to kill her. But he didn't shout, instead, he lowered his voice.

"Sit the fuck down, and shut your mouth, understand?" He asked. Dontai never broke eye contact, instead, he grabbed his glass and took a sip. Everything about it turned Kendra on. The eye contact, his jawline, even the way he spoke to her made her knees weak. It reminded her a lot of that "Im sat" audio from TikTok. Only this time it was very real. Without another word, Kendra sat back down and stared at her glass.

Dontai sighed and looked down, he wasn't as tense anymore and he seemed upset.

"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said that," he said, he looked over at Kaylah, "and I'm sorry for saying that about your friend, I'm sure she's changed now." Kaylah smiled politely and shook her head.

"You don't need to apologize," she said, "I know my friend and I know how she can be, if you reacted that way, I can only imagine." Kendra rolled her eyes.

I can't believe this girl, she's eating this shit up.

Kendra cleared her throat.

"Well, aren't you gonna at least ask how I'm doing? What's it been? Like 8 years since we graduated?" Kendra asked while staring at her glass.

"Yeah," Dontai said, "something like that...you still breaking hearts?" At this, Kendra had to laugh.

"Breaking hearts?" She asked, "can't break a heart you never touched Dontai, I'm sure you know that." Dontai scoffed, he raised his glass and began to drink, quickly finishing it off. He poured himself some more then he finally spoke.

"You know that never mattered for me Kendra...and I know that you know that, do you have any kind of idea at all what I felt for you all those years ago? Kendra I used to get fucked up just for liking you. No really, you had a new nigga beating my ass for you every day after school, and you weren't even dating these niggas, they just did it to impress you." Kendra watched Dontai as he spoke, he stared at the ice as he twirled his glass. She looked over at Kaylah, unsure what to say. Kaylah sighed and rubbed Dontai's back.
