HARDEST TO LOVE
the weekend after olivers birthday, oliver went with ximena to get 4 new tattoos. she has been wanting some new tattoos for quite sometime but hasn't had time to get them done.
" are you excited?" oliver asked as they were leaving her house.
" i'm nervous and kinda scared i've never gotten 4 done in the same day, i've only got 2 done in the same day " ximena explained.
" you'll be okay, i'll be right there with you " oliver said to her.
" yeah, but how excited are you to drop your mini album this week? i'm so excited for it " ximena switched the topic, she knew oliver and his roommates been working on this for so long.
" you've already heard every song on it though? " oliver asked laughing a little bit.
" i know, i'm just excited to see the music video's and being able to add it to our playlist " ximena said, oliver thought it was amazing on how she's been one of his biggest fans ever since they've became friends.
" our playlist?" oliver questioned, he didn't know she made a playlist for them.
" yeah our playlist, i put songs that we both love in one playlist " ximena said smiling at him, even if he couldn't look at her to see the smile, he's grown to be inlove with.
they eventually reached the tattoo shop, ximena saw her artist and thankfully her tattoo artist was one of her good friends. gustavo was the only tattoo artist she's ever trusted, she wont go to nobody else.
" so ximena what we getting today? " gustavo asked as she layed down on her stomach on the bed.
" i want like red IV numbers on my shoulder, a red butterfly on the back of my neck, a red kiss mark on my rib cage and behind my ear chinese lettering for love yourz?" ximena said, it came out as a question but she knew that's what she wanted.
" okay. im gonna go get the stuff and i'll be right back" gustavo said getting up from his spinning stool.
" this is gonna take a while, if you want to leave you can. i'm not gonna trip about it " ximena said to oliver, who shook his head no.
" i'm not gonna leave " oliver said, as she just nodded. ximena was already tired so she knew she was gonna fall asleep during the tattoo.
gustavo came back like 3 minutes later, and he started on the IV numbers first. the numbers were her dads death date august 8, 2021. the day before she turned 21. the kiss mark was just something for fun, and the butterfly was just something pretty to her and she's always loved butterflies.
while ximena was getting her butterfly tattoo done, she fell asleep, this was the last tattoo she was getting done. she stayed awake for the other two but surprisingly she fell asleep on the butterfly, behind the neck & the rib cage is supposed to be the most painful places to get a tattoo. the rib cage didn't hurt that much in her opinion, the one that was somewhat painful to her was her shoulder.
it was 10:30 when they finally left the tattoo shop, ximena was still tired but the cold los angeles air had woke her up a little bit.
" ximena my love, are you hungry? " oliver said softly, shaking her a little bit to wake her up. ximena just nodded her head and went back to sleep, his car was the perfect car to fall asleep in. oliver had got ximena her favorite fast food, in n out. he didn't know if he should wake her up or carry her in the house since she's been very tired lately and he doesn't want to interrupt her sleep.
he decided on carrying her inside because he didn't wanna wake her up, he placed her in his bed. oliver wasn't tired at all so he went downstairs to go hangout with his roommates since he hasn't seen them at all today.
" hey loverboy " darren said causing everyone around him to laugh. oliver just rolled his eyes and sat down next to regie on the couch.
" so what did you guys do today? you guys left at like 9 and you're just now getting back at 11?" sebastian asked his older brother.
" she got a tattoo " oliver said, justin looked at him in confusion.
" one tattoo took the whole day?" justin asked as others agreed with him.
" no? she got 4 done " oliver said, wishing they can stop talking about him and his girlfriend.
" better be some fire ass tattoos to take the whole day" regie mumbled, oliver rolled his eyes once again.
" what did you guys do?" oliver switched the topic. they all told him what gad happened while he was out and there was a lot that happened with the 6 boys. all of them continued talking until jackie and ximena came downstairs talking to eachother about drama on social media.
" hi baby " regie said to his girlfriend as she walked into the living room, the ones that are single in the group watched regie and jackie in disgust.
" ximena oli told us you got new tattoos can we see them ?" kane asked ximena.
" yeah sure " ximena smiled, it was to be nice. she already had her hair up so all she had to was show them the back of her neck. the one tattoo she didn't show them was her rib cage just because it's kinda weird to show your boyfriends roommates, like that high up on her stomach and she didn't know of oliver would be comfortable with that.
" why did you get ' love yourz ' as a tattoo?" justin asked her.
" it's a j.cole song, i see it as theres no such thing as a life better than yous. but that's not the meaning of the song " ximena explained to him.
" your food is in the kitchen by the way " oliver said to ximena, who gave him a kiss on the cheek and made her way to the kitchen. she ate her food and went back upstairs to olivers room to watch movies by herself.

ximena continued talk to her sister until her sister fell asleep, which told her she should also go to sleep because she has to go home tommorow sadly.
