*After Mila's birth*
*About 15 years after Harley*Taylor's POV
"Holly! Please come and help me" I called after Holly, distressed by Mila's constant crying, she hasn't stopped for at least ten minutes and I couldn't take it anymore, my head was pounding ferociously. "I'm here" she sighed, taking Mila from me, allowing me to massage my temples. "Shush, give mummy a break little one, you're gonna send her into her 60s at 32" she chuckled, shushing Mila straight away. "I swear she doesn't even like me" I muttered, pretending to chuckle it off. "Don't be stupid, you're her mum, she does like you, she's just sensitive" Holly replied, it was comforting, but it proved Holly had the magic touch with Mila, where as Harley had warmed to me from a young age, he'd cry for hours when Holly was home alone with him whilst I went shopping and she couldn't get him to stop. I'd come home to an exhausted Holly, half asleep as Harley stopped crying abruptly to the sound of my voice. She had said my exact words back then, but now Harley spread himself, he always went to Holly for skateboarding and advice on girls, he spread himself across both of us when it came to music. "The same thing happened with you and Harley. I felt the same way, but look at the little dork now, he's happy, Mila just needs to warm up to the world more" Holly finally said Mila having fallen asleep in her arms. "Harley done the same with you" she repeated, smiling weakly at me, but I knew Mila would warm to me soon. "You still look as cute as ever holding that child" I complimented her, she smiled sincerely at me this time, kissing Mila's forehead before putting her into her crib, playing the little lullaby machine and following me out of the room.
"I missed looking after a baby, it's just so cool, but she's going to be one soon enough" Holly reminisced, the realisation the Mila would in fact be one in about three months. "She's going to be such a little madam" she chuckled, this caused me to chuckle too. "So when are you gonna get around to getting that new tattoo?" I asked Holly, smiling at the fact she had a tattoo that marked Harley's birth, she was now to get one for Mila's, but we had been so busy that she hadn't actually had the opportunity. "In a few weeks, I've already got the design sorted and Alex said to come in whenever, she'll clear her schedule and get it done" she replied, smiling at the thought of a new tattoo, she'd gotten so many it was crazy, I had my fair share, but not half as many as Holly did. "I'm super excited to see it" I responded, smiling at her as we walked to our bedroom together, closing the door behind us as we both got changed into a more comfortable attire to sleep in.Holly's POV
"Mum?" I heard from the door, it was Harley. "One second" I called out, pulling my sweatpants on and walking to the door. "What's wrong?" I asked "Can you please help me with this homework?" He asked, seeming defeated. "Sure thing buddy" I replied, grabbing a sweatshirt and throwing it over my head. "What homework you got?" I asked, following him down the stairs and into the dining room. "Maths" he replied, I frowned knowing it wasn't one of my strongest points, but I'd still help him. "What is it on?" I asked again, he sighed heavily "Algebra" I smiled softly at him, knowing I was at least a little good at algebra.
"Hey, Holly?" I heard from beside me, turning to see Taylor stood in the door way smiling. "What's up?" I asked smiling back. "Mila is awake again, mind seeing to her?" She asked, a look of pure exhaustion crossing her features, smiled and nodded, kissing Harley's head and walking past Taylor, pecking her lips in the process. "Mum, can you help me instead?" I heard Harley ask as I jogged up the stairs, hearing Mila crying. "Awh, little bug what's the matter?" I cooed, picking her up in my arms and cradling her. "Shush" I hushed her silently, rocking her lightly. She had little hiccups and was just starting to calm down, so I sat on the rocking chair. She was still crying a little and so I sang a lullaby to her in a hushed voice.
I don't know how long I was there, but I must've fallen asleep because I was woken up by Taylor, pushing my shoulder lightly. "Holly, it's past midnight, let's go to bed" she whispered, I nodded and picked Mila up with me as I walked to her cot and placed her back into it. "I got a snap if you by the way. My social media is blowing up" Taylor smiled, showing me her phone that had notification after notification pop up. We left the room quietly after turning the baby monitor on and closing the door. I unlocked my phone and checked Taylor's Instagram, seeing a picture of me asleep with Mila laying on top of my chest asleep. I smiled at the picture and saved it, using it as my lockscreen. "I knew you'd make a cute mum" Taylor smiled, laying in bed as I crawled in next to her. "I couldn't have asked for a better woman to start my family with" I smiled, kissing the top of her head as she curled into my side, our legs tangled together as her arm rested lazily over my torso. "And I couldn't have asked for a more real relationship that's so honest to reality, you literally have given me so much in such a short time" Taylor admitted, smiling widely. I turned our lamp off and placed my arm around her. "I love you" I replied, that's honestly all I could say. Taylor and I had, had an emotional run, it had been full of crazy shit for years and it just showered us with more problems, but the best part was that we stuck together no matter what was thrown our way and to have this was all worth it. "I love you too" she replied, kissing my jawline as she nuzzled her head into my neck. Contently sighing as I pulled her closer before letting myself drift into a sleep, ready for a three am wake up call from Mila.
