4.A Call In The Morning (Hiyyih X Gyu ft Kai)

8:20 a.m.

It was another peaceful day for the TXT members.Kai had just woken up from his sleep when he met Gyu,who is already eating his breakfast in their living room.Seeing his hyung eating makes him hungry as well and goes to make himself some breakfast of his own taste in their kitchen.Gyu just took a quick glance at Kai before resuming on browsing his phone.

But he got distracted after some minutes later because of Kai's phone,it was ringing because someone is currently calling him.Kai seems to be busy in the kitchen as he doesn't seems to heard his phone ringing.Gyu quickly called him over.

Gyu:
Yah,Kai-ah!Your phone is ringing!Come answer it quickly!

Kai:
What?Who's calling?

Gyu look at Kai's phone to see who was calling and he got surprised later,for a brief moment.

It was Hiyyih who is calling.She must have called to check up on her brother.

Gyu:
Uh,It's Hiyyih who's calling!Should I answer her for you?

Kai:
Yeah!Tell her i'll be with her later!My coffee is not ready yet!

Gyu cleared his throat before answering the call.He started to greet her in manners.

Gyu:
Um,hello Hiyyih~

Hiyyih:
Kai-Oppa,you sounded weird.Don't tell me you just woken up?

Gyu:
Uh,Kai's not here.He's in the kitchen.

There was a brief pause on the other end.

Gyu:
Uh,hello?

Hiyyih:
...is this Gyu-oppa by any chance?

Gyu:
Yup,it's me!The one and only!

Hiyyih:
...Did I called the wrong person?I'm pretty sure this is Kai-oppa's number...

Gyu tried to contain his laugh.

Gyu:
Nope,you didn't make any mistake!This is Kai's phone indeed but I'm the one answering.He's still in the kitchen making himself some breakfast.

Hiyyih:
Ohh,I see,I see.So,I assume he had just woken up then?

Gyu:
Yup,he is!

There was some mumbling on the other end after Gyu answered her but he can't quite hear them clearly.

Hiyyih:
So,he haven't changed at all.*sigh*
But anyway,how are you,Gyu-oppa?

Gyu was taken aback for a moment as he didn't expect her to ask about him.

Gyu:
I'm doing fine.In fact,I'm full with some jokes if you're willing to hear them!

Hiyyih can't help but laugh after that.

Hiyyih:
I think you just made a joke without you knowing it!

Gyu:
*Smiling*
And uh,how are you?

Hiyyih:
My schedule sometimes are packed with lots of things to do,given that our group are descending on good track now.But on top of it,I'm fine!

Gyu:
Well,cheer up,Hiyyih!Fighting!

Hiyyih:
Fighting!

They both ended up laughing after that.

Hiyyih:
I just noticed something,Oppa.

Gyu:
What is that?

Hiyyih:
Well,hearing you being nice instead of being sarcastic all the time is not so bad after all.You should keep up with it more often~
