I checked my patient's hand, if she is comfortable with the plaster or not, and then injected her a sedative. She is a teenager, and injured badly due to slipping from the skate board

Me: Next time be careful, why do you even need a skate board when you have legs to walk?

Girl: It's my passion Doc, I really love to skate

I gave her an amused smile and patted her face,

Me: Sorry dear but you have to stay away from skate board or any other stunts for at least 1-2 months due to your fractured hand

Girl: What??? No way!!! I can't be away from my skate board even for a single day (she whined)

I came out of her ward and went to my cabin, and started to sanitize my hands. Then I started to check if I have any other patients. My phone started to beep with notifications. In my family I am very close to my bro and Grandma, they both are the only one who was with me during my childhood. Why?? Because my parents are always busy in work. They both only care about work work work. God how can a person be workaholic 24/7?? Aren't they fed up or bored? They rarely spend time with us.
