she ran out of the building with her messy braids in a large black hoodie and gray sweatpants with white converse. dragging her bag as she searched the crowd.

suddenly, she saw a glimpse of a familiar face. he was smiling brightly in the middle of a crowd of parents and players.

his smile made her heart speed up, she seriously should get that checked.

he laughed and butterflies erupted in her stomach. what is this weird feeling he is making her feel?

why was she so drawn to him? a hawk of all people.
her ears and nose were bright red and she could no longer take the almost aching feeling of needing to smile at his happiness.

as she was about to turn around and walk to her house, he looked over. his eyes widened as he realized this would be one of his only chances to talk to her.

she soon made eye contact with him. blue. she thought as she stared into his eyes.

so pretty.

she smirked a little and in order to make it a little fun she started to almost skip backwards so she was facing him and, while still making eye contact, going towards behind the building, peaking her head around the corner before completely disappearing behind the wall.

he smiled, quickly turning back to all the people surrounding him, telling them he had to be going home now.

"oh! of course, banksy! good job, again!"

he smiled and waved before slightly jogging towards the edge of the building.

his heart was pounding in anticipation, what did she want?

he walked past the corner, walking a few yards down noticing she wasn't there. he frowned before he heard her voice, "hey, number 9."

he jumped and turned towards the wall behind him, she stood behind a column on the wall, her arms folded over each other, her left leg leaning up against the wall while her other leg held her up.

her hair blew slightly in the wind and her eyes shown from the sun beaming down on her.

he stared in awe. geez, she never seemed to stop being beautiful. every time he saw her she blew him away again.

once he realized he should probably pick his jaw up off the ground, he cleared his throat, "hi."

of course, he had the worst voice crack of his life. he cringed, his cheeks glowing red. as she giggled a little.

"good game, all though you're a little cocky, don't you think?" she commented, her ears were bright red and her heart was beating so fast she was praying he couldn't hear it. just talking to him made her loose her cool.

"uh, well, maybe a little. but, you can't blame me. look at the rest of my teammates, compared to them i'm humble." she laughed again and he thought, i want to be the only one to make her laugh like this.

"i don't normally talk to a hawk, but the walk i take to get to my house is a little too long to walk by myself, if you don't mind." she looked away from him as her face exploded red, sure she walked home by herself almost everyday from this rink, but she was a little lonely, and she was embarrassed asking him.
