Ch.2: preliminary rounds

          A few fights just happened and Sakura is getting more and more anxious, not because she doesn't know when her turn is nor who is gonna be her opponent, because she saw that Sasuke's mark is getting worse. 

          While she was worrying about Sasuke, her name came up on the screen, now she has other things to worry about . To make the situation worse, her opponent is Ino - her childhood best friend - . As she started getting nervous to fight Ino, cause she thinks Ino is stronger than her, Naruto cheered her on. " Come on Sakura-chan , you got this!" he shouts.

            Naruto's words got her more determined and ready to fight. At first, the fight is pretty boring until Ino used her possession jutsu.

            Inner Sakura fought Ino and kicked her out of Sakura's body into her own. Then Sakura and Ino charged at each other with their fists. They both landed their punches, except Sakura's punch had more power. She focused all her chakra in her fists and sent Ino flying. Everyone was speechless even Sakura. The proctor announced that Sakura is through to the next round. 

             Ino was taken by medical specialists , she was passed out . While Sakura went to where everyone else is standing she was met by Naruto and Rock Lee cheering for her. She smiled at them softly and after a while, she excused herself. 

            She went to see Ino in the medical room. As she entered, Shikamaru and Choji both left them to sort out their differences. "I didn't know you were this strong, billboard brow" Ino said. " me neither" Sakura answered "But it wouldn't have happened if you weren't here" Ino was shocked, Sakura explained further. She explained that without Ino she wouldn't have been able to become confident in herself and she thanked her for standing up for her when she was bullied. "I'm so grateful to have you" Sakura said. Tears started forming in Ino's eye's, she pulled Sakura into a hug. 

                   'thank you , Sakura....'
