Prologue

~Zero~

I woke up and yawned. I didn't want to go to school today and I also wished that I was good at pretending to be sick. I got up and looked in my drawer. "Do I wear a sweater today?" I asked myself. I decided that I should wear a sweater and I pulled it over my head. I looked at my pajamas and decided that I wasn't going to change those. I walked downstairs and looked at the time. I realized that I was late and I quickly made a sandwich and left my house. I ran to the school and seen a school bus and I seen my class waiting outside of the school. "What is going on?" I questioned. "Oh, Zero! We thought you weren't coming today. We are going to 'Odd World!" Sophia exclaimed. "Yea and it's going to be awesome!" Midnight and Rose said in unison. "Jinx!" Midnight  yelled. Rose just shrugged and we all got on the bus. I heard something teleport from behind us. "What was that?" Sushi asked.  I looked back and a person was standing behind us. "Wha- what's your name?" I asked. He looked up and made a word that said 'Void' and I was pretty sure that word was his name. "Void. Okay the." I said.  "Oh! welcome aboard! My name is Pickle-Music but you can call me Pickle!" Pickle said. Void nodded and sat down.

I was the last one on the bus and the only seat available was next to Picki. I sat down and looked at Void. He looked like he was made out of pure darkness, i guess that explains how he was able to teleport. Then I glimpsed at Escapism and I seen a gun in Escapism's pocket. "Wha-" "Hey there Z!" Picki interrupted. "Hi." I replied. Picki was very annoying but she was also funny at times. "How are you?" I asked Picki shrugged. "Good I guess." I nodded, trying not to make more conversation but that sadly failed since she kept asking me questions.

~Rose~

I was somewhat excited for this field trip but I didn't show it, well... I only showed my friends that I was excited.. I was sitting near my friends Midnight and Sophia and I wasn't able to speak since I got jinxed by Midnight and she said that if I broke the jinx that I would owe her ten dollars. "Okay since this is boring you can be un-jinxed Rose." Midnight said. "YES FINALLY!" I yelled. Everyone looked at me in confusion. Sushi laughed at the silence. Azira and Void apparently had magic powers or something. I didn't really believe that but I also had powers and since I seen void teleport I assumed that the rumors about them were true. "Hey Rose are you excited for this field trip?" Sophia asked. I shrugged. "I'm just tired since I stayed up all last night working on my books. So I'm just going to try and get some sleep if that's alright." I said. Midnight shrugged and looked out the window and Sophia went on her phone. I closed my eyes and I dozed off.

I woke up to cheering of people when we seen odd world in the distance and I seen that the sign had been flipped over or maybe I was just seeing stuff. We took a turn right and the tires screeched, trying to stop and we crashed. Some of us went flying outside the windows and I hit my head off of a rock and I lost consciousness.
