Chapter 5: I want out

I didn't sleep and I also didn't try to anyways. I seen only the enigmatic people awake and they were talking in whispers so I couldn't hear them. "Did one of you three save me today?" I asked. "We forgot which one of us saved you but yeah, one of us did." Will explained. I nodded and looked at the floor. Why are we trapped down here? "Not sure if you noticed the demon in the room." Fatal murmured, nodding his head towards where Zero was sleeping. I looked at the couch area and seen an actual demon floating above him. "Wha- how in the actual hell?" It looked at me and I shivered. It felt like the room dropped several degrees. "What?" It asked. tilting its head. I managed to create a tiny flame in my hand to warm myself up but it vanished instantly. "What are you?" It started at me, flinching at the question. "I'm a frost demon. I know what you are. I know a Fire bender when I see one." It stated. The voice of The ruby on my necklace warned me about this creature. "Ah the blood ruby. I can tell you're not from this timeline princess." I stared at the demon. "Don't call me princess. My past is none of your business!" It shrugged and looked at Zero. "Awkward." Void stated. I glared at the demon and sighed. "What are we going to do in the meantime?" Will asked. "I know! Shut up and go to sleep." Zero exclaimed. "No." Fatal replied. He groaned and sat up. "Well I'm not going to sleep anytime soon." He murmured. I chuckled at his comment. The demon looked back and entered his body, which looked incredibly weird. He suppressed the demon and put a bandana on and the traces of the demon was gone. (space)

I looked at Void and his friends and looked at the sleeping people. An adult woke up and stared at us. "What are you five doing awake?" She asked. "I was having trouble sleeping, Picki." She looked at Zero and sighed. "Okay then." She was supposed to be making sure nothing bad happened to anyone on the trip but since everything changed all of our priority's have changed. I looked at the ground and then the clock on the wall. I yawned and decided to at least try and get a little bit of sleep. I lied there waiting for more talking but everyone stayed silent. Just the way I like it.

I woke up and stretched. I almost forgot that we were kidnapped by someone. "Morning everyone! It appears that orange has woken up and he is hungry. I'm guessing he smelled the bags of food. Make sure to feed him but don't feed him to much or you won't be able to hear him when he runs. Good luck." I looked down from the speakers and watched as the door opened. "Great." I said sarcastically.I walked slowly, dodging Blues stubby hands and running away. I have been in this place several times but I didn't want to tell anyone. I was so used to dodging the creatures until I seen a puddle by the vents. My reaction time was to slow and I seen purple grab my ankles. "Help!" I shrieked. I shook my leg constantly but It took my feet out from under me. I seen Zero running towards me bad he jumped, barely grabbing my arm. "I got you! Well, at least I think I do." He stated. "Not a good time for jokes nitwit!" I snapped. He nodded and pulled on my arm.(space)

He wasn't doing much against Purple so I decided to let go of his arm. "What are you doing?!" He questioned. I looked at him then Purple. I knew I wasn't making it out this time. "Giving up." I whispered. He pulled harder and I winced in pain. "Let go please." I muttered. He didn't. He just stared at me like I was crazy. "Why?" He asked. He looked a bit frantic and it was nice. "I'm not getting out of here." I said plainly. I heard rubber bouncing on the ground and clearly he heard it too. "Go." I said. He hesitated for a bit then nodded. "No." He argued. I seen a demon walk out of him and it pulled on my arm. I felt purples grasp loosen but it suddenly pulled me farther down the vent. "It's pointless. Leave while you still can." I ordered. He had tears in his eyes, since he probably never lost a friend but he let go and the last thing I seen was Purples face.

I was wandering around the base, wondering were my friends were. I heard a noise that sounded like someone crying but I didn't know where it was coming from. I walked a few feet ahead and I stepped in a puddle. I felt the urge to move away instantly, so I did. I have learned to trust my instincts over the past. I seen what looked like shoe prints but I didn't bother following them. I wasn't in the mood for this. I wanted to leave but the power dampener on my neck was preventing me from doing so. I heard the voice of Fatal so I walked towards it, with no thought of being grabbed by Blue or Green on my way there. I walked by a vent and something grabbed my leg. "What the?" I asked myself as it made me fall. "Let go of me!" I yelled, kicking the creature in the face. It was purple and had a flat face. I dragged me but I managed to get away from it. "That was close." I walked towards Fatal and Void's voice but I wasn't able to find them. I seen a orange trail appear on the ground and then I heard the distinct sound of flippers hitting the pavement floor. I decided that I should get out of the way and walk to a separate place.

I eventually found Void and Fatal but I seen Blue behind them. "Follow me! I know a spot where we'll be safe!" I exclaimed. The both ran to my direction and I showed the the room beside me and I hid in a box. I looked out of my box for a moment and I seen them hiding as well. Blue had walked in the room and stood in its place for a mew seconds, confused. It walked away and I, slowly, Got out of the box. "I think we're safe." Fatal stated. I looked out of the door and seen Orange run by another hallway. "Yeah, we're safe." Void agreed. I looked around this room and sat down for a moment.
