Hello, beautiful people <3
This 6 chapter fic was actually my first Swanqueen one shot, which I later made it to a multi-chapter, due to popular demand. I guess you could say this is a bit of a fix it fic for 4x22/23 when everyone is back in the Enchanted Forest, before Emma becomes the Dark One.

It had been an entire day, and Regina still couldn't believe what this boy was telling her. Claiming that she was his mother and that he had another mom. It definitely wasn't something unheard of in the Enchanted Forest, but the boy wasn't from here. He was from a different world where he claims that they all lived.
Henry continued to follow her through the forest and to the docks of the closest village where he informed her a one handed pirate named Captain Hook should be. She wasn't sure why he would ever trust a pirate, let alone one with one hand, but she didn't have anything better to do. Henry says he can help her find her one true love so that they get back home, wherever that is.
But they need the pirate to find Emma, his other mother, who is also the woman to claim she's the Savior. Regina has heard rumors about the woman, and had seen wanted posters of her before she was finally caught. She was always intrigued by the woman's picture. Regina had never met her, but always felt drawn to her.
Regina isn't sure how Henry talked his way onto the Jolly Roger, but from the docks she watched as he yelled at Hook and took on Black Beard himself. They're on the ship now as Henry bosses her around the sails as if he's done this before, and Henry tells her that back in his world Hook dates his other mother and Hook taught him everything about sailing.
She feels something in her stomach at the thought of his other mother dating a man. The pieces are falling together and she's slowly believing Henry's story about her being his adoptive mother and Emma his birth mother, but she still feels something odd in her stomach.
They come up with the idea for her to pose as the prisoner that Hook is leading into the tower while Henry stands outside the door until they've knocked out the guard. The guard listens to Hook's tale as her face is revealed and the guard looks at her and can feel their eyes on her even if she can't see them with their face shield.
Thankfully the pirate has a sword strapped to his hip and once the guard gets close enough, she lifts the hilt and hits the guard in the face with it, thankful that part of the shield was mesh. Idiots.
Henry comes up behind them once he's heard the guard drop to the floor and makes a comment about a Wookie prisoner, baffling both her and Hook. Henry is the one in charge for this mission and has Hook take care of the guard, locking them in a cell. Regina follows Henry up the stairs and to the top of the tower, unlocking a door where the Savior lies.
He opens the door and there's a woman with a messy head of blonde curls lying on the floor in a deep blue dress. The woman looks up at them through her mess of hair and Henry walks further into the room and says, "Hi. My name is-"
"Henry." It leaves Emma's lips like a prayer.
"Mom?"
Emma stands in her shackles, breathing heavily and repeats, "Henry."
Henry walks closer to her. "You... you remember."
Emma smiles and walks as far as she can while still bound to the floor before the mother and son are hugging. "I knew you'd find me."
"I don't understand," Henry is saying as he unlocks Emma's shackles. "How do you remember when no one else does? Mom doesn't know who I am."
And Emma's eyes finally meet hers. Regina suddenly remembers the conversation she had with Henry about true loves and knowing who they were just by looking into their eyes. She has never seen eyes so beautiful. Eyes that light up the room even though Emma looks worse for wear.
