Emma discovered something very interesting and important to this... case they were working on. Something vital. She searched all over the castle grounds for Regina to share the information, but she was nowhere to be found. She was also avoiding Killian in her search for her friend. Friend?
Anyway... she ended up finding Zelena in their room and she was very adamant about giving Emma Regina's location.
"Why, she's with your parents, dear. It's a rather strange trio, if you ask me. The Charmings and the Evil Queen, who once upon a time was trying to kill your mother."
Emma sighed and rolled her eyes. "Just tell me where they are, please?"
"Well you're no fun. But fine... they ran off into the woods to the South of Camelot."
Emma knew she shouldn't, but she magicked herself to the woods where Zelena told her she could find Regina. She wasn't supposed to be using magic of any kind, but this was urgent.
Thankfully, it didn't take her long to find her parents and Regina. They were talking about her and about the dagger, as per usual. It had certainly become the topic of most conversations.

The Charmings were really the worst judges of character. They were asking Regina to help them, after all, and they were very quick to forgive, never holding grudges. She wasn't sure how the hell they managed. But here Regina was, giving two of the people she had learned to trust over the years the very dagger that controlled their daughter. So that they could help King Arthur; someone who shouldn't be trusted at all.
She was about to hand it over, when they froze. Emma was behind them, her hand in the air, full of magic.
"What are you doing?" She asked in a stern voice, walking over to Emma.
Emma put her hand down. "I didn't have a choice," she sighed. "Arthur has them under some kind of spell. He wants them to bring him the dagger and reunite it with Excalibur." Regina raises an eyebrow in question. "It was once one blade, broken in half a long, long time ago."
"What happens when they're together?"
"He wants to kill Merlin with it," Emma sighs again. "I don't have to tell you how bad that would be for all of us."
"How do you know this?" Regina questioned. "How do I know this isn't the darkness in you, rearing its head?"
"It doesn't matter how I know. We don't have a lot of time. Arthur's expecting them soon." Emma turns to walk away, hoping Regina will follow, but a tan hand falls into her own.
"He's the King, Emma." Regina says once their eyes meet, getting the blonde's attention. "So, what? You want to take on all of Camelot?"
"I want to free Merlin, first. Then I could help my parents and stop Arthur."
Regina was quick to pick up on my parents. Emma didn't usually refer to Snow and David that way, and hadn't in a while. Maybe things were changing her in Camelot. "While that's a great plan, we have no idea how to get him out of the tree."
Emma visibly swallowed before saying, "Dark Magic."
"No, Emma." Regina was quick to say. She looked down, realizing their hands were still together and intertwined their fingers before giving the blonde's hand a reassuring squeeze. "You can't keep using it. You shouldn't."
"It's a risk I'm willing to take." Emma squeezed Regina's hand back, before letting go.
"Please, just be careful, Emma. I've been on that slippery slope. You know where it got me. Too many people here care about you, Dark One or not."
