They're in the tower again, in the room full of potions, looking for an answer; a way to free Merlin. Emma keeps trying to use her magic to help everyone, but they keep refusing. Regina says it's not worth it because her magic is dark. Emma can't become dark. She can't.
Regina just needs to keep pretending to be the Savior.
They're ever so slowly making progress and then Snow has the most genius idea. To talk to Merlin.
Now they just have to find The Crimson Crown.
David and the King go on their search; Emma, Snow, and baby Neal wander off, leaving Regina and Belle in the tower. The two women read and read and read through all of the texts they can find. Regina finds many potions about communicating through magical barriers, nothing sounding exactly like what they need. A few hours have gone by and Belle leaves to find something for them to eat while they study.
Soon after she leaves, Zalena appears. "So, little sis," she chirps. "What's going on with you and the Savior?"
Regina stopped flipping through the pages of the book in her hand, completely caught off guard. "Excuse me?"
"Oh don't play dumb with me. I remember our time in the Enchanted Forest and the little display you two put on when you crashed my wedding."
The brunette felt her face heat up and turned around to busy herself with more books. "I have no idea what you're talking about."
"Does Robin know?"
Regina closed her eyes, fully aware that she couldn't keep whatever this secret was from her sister. She took a breath and quietly said, "I don't know. I don't think so. I haven't had a chance to talk to him, but I'm not sure what he's seen or what he's heard."
"Well whatever you two have going on, I support you."
A laugh left Regina's lips. "You just want Robin to yourself."
"I am having his baby, after all. Having the father around wouldn't hurt."
And Regina felt another pang in her chest at that reminder. Someone else was carrying the child of the man she loved. Of course, Regina herself couldn't carry a child. It was painful to see Zelena living out one of her dreams. She would never admit that, of course.
And she can't pretend to be excited for her sister; excited to be an aunt. So she dryly responds with, "I don't need the reminder." She hears Zelena scoff behind her, and doesn't dare to turn around.
Yes, she was thankful that Emma had saved her from becoming the dark one. Yes, somewhere deep down, she felt something for Emma. But what? She had Robin, after all.
Regina took a deep breath again, attempting to clear her mind. She needed to find a way to save Emma.

Killian had questions for Emma once she arrived back to her room. Of course he had been waiting for her, wondering where she had been.
That was one thing she hated about Killian Jones; how uptight and possessive he was. Some days it seemed like the man was even jealous of Henry, a teenager. Just because Emma wanted to spend time with her son.
"Where were you?"
Emma paused, shutting the door behind her. What does it matter? She wanted to say, but instead said, "With Henry. We were walking around the castle grounds." She walked closer to Killian, who was lounging carelessly on her bed. She was immediately grateful that she had a roommate, but wasn't sure where Zelena had gone off to. The redhead wasn't her problem. "What have you been up to?"
