heyy, i was gonna be publishing this chapter earlier but got side tracked, also i wanted to put another disclaimer that most of this wont be canon to the original plot of the movie since im adding customized scenes just so i can give both of the characters a deeper connection and a deeper story since im kinda tired of seeing the same thing over and over with jake fanfics, (no offense i still love them LMAO) anyways just had to put that out there. also i cant translate the na'vi that neytiri uses most of the time so dont expect me to, sorry but i promise ill try!!

You awoke with the sun poking through the leaves, it was shining right in your eyes and you got up covering them and hissing ever so slightly.

You knew today was the day you had to teach Jake Sully how to ride a dire horse, and that made ur day so much worse.

you jumped out of your hammock and onto the branch above it, you scurried over to his hammock and opened his hammock for him. you tried to shake him awake but he didn't wake up even after you slapped his arm.

You hissed in annoyance and just waited, perched on the branch above his hammock.

It had only been 10 minutes before he awoke, you still sitting in the same place.

He saw his hammock had been opened and he could've sworn he didn't do that himself. he got up and you stayed silent, he turned around and saw you there.

He fell out of his hammock in surprise but you caught him.

"Stupid baby." you said before bringing him back up to the branch you were on as you got up and walked away hoping he was following since you didn't feel like speaking to him at the moment.

"Hey wait up! what are we doing today?"

"you learn how to ride dire horse. do not ask me again, i am irritated."

"what'd i do?"

you ignored him and continued down to the ground before finally reaching it.

"stay." you said as you put a hand on his chest signaling him to stay behind while you go and fetch his horse.

he did as he was told and you left to go retrieve pale, his horse for the day.

"where is she.." you said as you continued looking through the place she was kept in hometree.

you finally found her and got her ready, you dragged her back to jake after apologizing for letting her be around an absolute moron.

you got back to the spot you left him and found him playing with the village kids. you were behind a bush peacefully watching while the kids pulled his tail, being helicoptered around while he spun. the kids laughter made your heart feel warm, you loved these kids and you were glad to see them bonding with others. just not him.

you finally came out of your hiding spot and came up behind him with his horse. the kids took notice and you got on your knees as they all hugged you, some saw you as a mother since they didn't have one. many of their mothers were great warriors that were now with Eywa.

"goodmorning children, you all look very beautiful. i see some of you have new hair styles." you said in na'vi with a smile while looking at one girl in particular, she was younger than the bunch but she was so beautiful. she often asked neytiri to do her hair for her since she unfortunately didn't have anyone else but you and your sister.

"i am going to be teaching jake how to ride pale. i wish you all could watch but you must get back to your families and dutys." you continued in na'vi as they giggled running away.
