Albedo stood on the beach, staring out at the ocean.
This had been the best summer of his life- he went abroad with his family, he got to spend time on a beautiful beach, and most importantly...
"Hey, Albedo, what are you thinking about?" Albedo looked from the ocean to the blue haired man sitting beside him and shook his head.
This summer, Albedo Kreideprinz fell in love.
"It's nothing," Albedo affirmed, wrapping his arms around his knees and keeping his eyes on Kaeya.
Kaeya leaned in, kissing Albedo softly- the same way he'd been doing all summer long, "as long as you're sure, dear."
Albedo sat up straight, taking a deep breath and looking at Kaeya, "actually.. there is something."
Kaeya tucked a piece of hair behind Albedo's ear- a silent cue for him to continue.
"I have to go back to Sumeru soon," Albedo admitted, biting his lip and looking away from Kaeya, "so we'll have to say goodbye."
Kaeya only nodded before leaning in to kiss Albedo again, the two sharing a more intense kiss than before.
Albedo leaned back, gently pushing Kaeya back as well, "what are you doing?"
"Making it better," Kaeya replied, leaning back in but getting stopped by Albedo's slight pushing.
"You're making it worse," Albedo sadly giggled, "what if I never see you again?"
"Now, don't say that, 'Bedo," Kaeya replied, wrapping his arms around the blond, "we'll see each other again."
"Are you sure?" Albedo looked up at Kaeya, his eyes pleading for a positive answer.
"More sure than you could know," Kaeya replied, leaning down to once again kiss Albedo, who this time happily allowed it.
Within the next week, Albedo had stopped showing up at their usual meet up spot.
He had official gone back to Sumeru.
