Mistake
The fire burns at night, casting shadows dancing against the walls of the ancient Hera Palace. On a remote island, buffeted by the unceasing wind of the open sea, a young woman stands defiant. Her ghostly white hair billowed around her face, entwined with the salty breeze that hit the air. Softly cradled in her arms was a small baby, covered in the soft folds of her delicate white robe.
The woman's eyes, a piercing cyan shade, flashed with a mixture of determination and sadness. She gazed out at the vast expanse of the sea, its dark waters full of secrets and mysteries yet to be revealed. The waves crash against the jagged rocks below, their relentless rhythm punctuating the stillness of the night.
Her name is Miranda, a name whispered in legend and myth. She was this hidden first-class elven princess, entrusted with a sacred task. As the flame flickered, its warm light illuminated her delicate features, revealing a sense of wisdom far beyond her youth. The baby in her arms moved, her innocent eyes seeking the comfort and safety of her mother's arms. Miranda held the child tightly, her touch conveying fierce protection and tender affection. At this moment, she contemplated the weight of his responsibility, the fate of the children she held, and the future that lay before them.
This baby, the bearer of an untold legacy, has powers that can shape the course of their world. It's a power that terrifies and captivates Miranda because she knows that with great power comes great sacrifice. As the wind blew through her hair, carrying the smell of salt water from the sea, Miranda took a step forward, her resolve unwavering. Hugging the baby to her chest, she began her journey, leaving everything behind. In the darkness of the night, with a flame as her guide, Miranda sets off into the unknown, her heart filled with hope and a resounding sense of purpose.
Lantern radiated darkness from nowhere. In her hand, she held a lantern that shone from the golden circle around her and the golden edge of his long white robe. She is not alone; humans chase her into the forest. They hear the news that a young woman gave birth to a cursed child, and they want to kill her. She arrives at a place called 'Crypt' and she places the baby with a note.
She left the baby with sorrow in her heart in front of the crypt and ran back to the forest. It was her second mistake doing that action but in a situation like this everything she had to sacrifice, she had to give up. The baby cries all night because of the cold temperature on the floor of the crypt but suddenly a shadowy man appears to see what noises coming from the Crypt is causing it to be annoying in the Underworld. He stood as he absorbed the unknown energy coming from the Crypt door. "Another baby? Who is cruel to leave a baby here?", He took the baby and he saw a letter on it he returned to the Underworld realm. "Your Highness, someone just dropped off a baby in front of our grave...", The shadow pointed the baby towards the demon king.
The Demon King known as Aranoth sits up on his throne with a little girl beside her. He said nothing because he was surprised. He picked up the baby from the shadowy man Everyone looked at him as they saw him hold the baby. "There's a note before someone left the baby, my Highness...", Aranoth looked at the baby closely.
"Is it the same person?" asks Aranoth to his shadowy man.
"I don't see the face who sent the baby, but I think it was the same person who sent your daughter, Yoriko.", said the shadowy man.
"Is that so... Alright, this baby was already named by her birth mother as I read on the note that she left on the baby..." said Aranoth.
"Do you know who the mother is?", asked the demon chief.
"Yes, I know... but I think the mother was trying to protect her from humanity that tried to kill this child."
"Is the baby cursed?", ask the little orcs for confirmation.
Everyone was silent now. Aranoth sharpened his eyes to the orcs making all of them nervous. The demon chief asks Aranoth to take the baby as a demon princess and he agrees to take it. The baby that King Aranoth took is named Tsuki. She also has an older sister named Yoriko who is a pure demon but, Yoriko never loved her at all. And that makes Tsuki wonder if she did something wrong or hurt her feelings. One day, they both got called by their father about an albino demon appearances.
"Thank you for joining the meeting, my dear daughters", Aranoth pleased them to sit. "There is something I want to discuss with the two of you", said Aranoth.
"What is it, father?", Yoriko and Tsuki ask.
"Another albino demon appeared among our race... But now he is in jail and has been tortured. But I wanted to talk with you two about what we should do with him. We can't torture him forever", said Aranoth.
"Maybe you should forbid him from this realm, Father", said Yoriko.
"This is one way to deal with this disappointment of demon...", Aranoth sighs.
"Tsuki what do you think of that idea?" He looked at her youngest daughter.
"Well, um. I don't think we should do that to him", Tsuki convinces them.
"Why? He is cursed and needs to be out of this realm", Yoriko raised her tone to Tsuki.
"Yoriko is right there is no point in showing mercy to this disgusting creature", Aranoth agrees with Yoriko.
"But father, an albino demon is rare because it has never happened after thousands of centuries and to find an albino also takes time. So, albinism among demons is not a curse" said Tsuki trying to change her father's mind.
"WATCH YOUR TONGUE TSUKI!", the father would scream out of anger and look at her extremely disappointed.
"This creature doesn't even deserve the title demon...", Aranoth said again. "They are like parasites...".
"My apologies Father", Tsuki looks down.
"Parasites that we need to get rid of, I'm glad that you understand, so all I can think of is either banishment or death", said Aranoth.
"And what made you think those are rare huh?" Yoriko asked her sister.
"Umm...", Tsuki displacement her words.
"Please Yoriko... Tsuki isn't that wrong those creatures are rare... this makes it even easier to obliterate those things who dare to bring shame over our race completely! I will make sure that this kingdom never has to see an albino ever again...".
"So, I'm asking you again." Aranoth looks back at his two daughters.
"Do you agree with Yoriko's suggestion of the banishment, Tsuki?" asks Aranoth.
"Y-yes father...", Tsuki slowly nodded her head.
"Fine then so banishment it shall be!"
"Guards get this scum out of my kingdom forever!" shout Aranoth to his guards.
"Yes, my lord!" said the guards.
Yoriko smiled a little after finally taking her father's side. Tsuki just smiled wryly after hearing the news. After the Meeting, it is a simple Discussion where Tsuki tries to prevent the albino demon from being exiled while Yoriko; Tsuki's sister wants the albino demon exiled. So, they both try to convince Aranoth of their opinion and in the end, Aranoth decides to trust Yoriko's opinion and banishes the albino demon. It's true what Tsuki said to find an albino demon takes a long time and it can happen to anyone from the wrong lineage. She gave up, she was too lazy to argue with Aranoth, her body was small and still a girl, what did she want to do? Her sister was not supportive either.
