I walk out the door getting in my carand i drive to the hospis
Tegan ; right mama we got a few things u have crispy hot cross buns i also brought a small jar of jam so u have that. Also i brought u more juice and the fancy tea and coffees u like
Mum ; thank u
Tegan ; is there anything u want
Mum : not at the minute thank u hun
Tegan ; no tea or coffee
Mum ; i had a tea already now please just sit down
Tegan: u had one there coffees
Mum ; yh wasn't very nice u would think end of life patients would get slightly nicer tea and coffee
I look at her
Tegan : your nails aren't looking your best
Mum :thanks
Tegan; i brought some nail things we can shape them and colour them
Mum ; yes please what colours did u bring
Tegan : oh i brought my whole collection of colours
I get the bag and i pull all the colours i brought with me
Mum ; lets go with some yellow
Tegan: ok lets shape them
I sit down at the end of the bed and i start shapping her nails
Tegan ; oh u missed it this morning tubbingtons smiled leo doesn't believe me
Mum ; our smiled
Tegan: yes I'm being serious i though u know its been a while since i last annoyed tubbingtons so i started stroking him and playing with his ears and he smiled all his teeth were on show .
Mum ; could he have been yawning
Tegan ; i wanted to make sure he wasn't yawning so i stoped playing with him . He didn't yawn and he closed his mouth so i started playing with him again and he smiled again all teeth on show . Mum i swear on everything he was smiling
Mum ; i believe u
Tegan : thank u leo didn't
Mum ; well thats your brother for u
Tegan; yh guess
Mum : how is your brother and your dad
Tegan ; they are both fine leo is at work said he'll be here after work and dad is doing something then he will come here .
Mum; ok
Tegan ; right they are now shaped lets add some colour
Mum : already looking better
Tegan : they are looking 10s better but they will look even better with some colour
Mum : yh
Tegan ; right lets do this
Mum ; tomrrows Halloween what are your plans
Tegan: me leo sara jj and andy are all going to lanas and watching scary films
Mum ; oh i bet thats going to be fun
Tegan ; i just know leo and jj are gonna try scareing us all and andy is going to scream like a little girl
She starts laugh
Mum ; tell your brother to behave

Mum ; how are sara and jj
Tegan ; they spoke and sara said to jj that its over and that its gonna be a long time untill they can even be friends .
Mum : such a shame about them
Tegan: well if jj hadn't of massively messed up they could still be happy now
Mum ; yh...your birthday is in a few days whats the plan
Tegan : so the day before my birthday all my friends are coming round and were gonna chill . Then on my atchul birthday I'm spending it with u here
Mum ; no
Tegan: yes so spending the day here and then the day after my birthday...I'm going out
Mum : out where with who
Tegan; not sure where yet but with a guy
Mum ; a guy are u seeing someone
Tegan: sort of
Mum ; oh this day and age of dating confuses me back in my day if u were seeing someone they were your boyfriend or girlfriend.
Tegan : if only things were still that easy
Mum : its still crazy that by your age i was married
Tegan: i couldn't imagine being married at this age
Mum ; yh...so tell me about this guy
Tegan: he's a dick

Tegan : i made the joke about me having a chest of a 10 year old boy and he laughed

She gets up going into the bathroom
Tegan: u know my whole fake dating thing
Dad ; yh
Tegan ; if mum asks its real i want her to think I'm happy and seeing someone great
Dad : ok and u need to post on Instagram its been a while u need to start getting the likes
Tegan: not here
Dad ; we need the money
Tegan ; not here dad please I've come to be with mum i didn't come here to have u on my case about getting money .
Dad : when we get home we do need to talk tho
