Using his torn shirt, Shinichi wiped blood from his knuckles without an ounce of sweat running his face. His eyes were narrowed looking upon Benjiro and his friends laying the ground, their bodies bloodied.

"Man, you couldn't last a minute." Shinichi insulted as he walked over Benjiro and continuing on past the rest.

"W...wait!" Benjiro yelled. The delinquent looked over his shoulder and towards the man who was bordering unconscious. "What the hell happened to you in that day you were away?"

"...hm..." Shinichi looked up and the night club ran his mind. "I fought an old guy who was beyond anyone i've ever fought before. I nearly died. So, someone like you, it's like a lion fighting a mice, I guess?"

Shinichi looked away, beginning to continue with a few steps before stopping once more.

"You said Uryu and Itadori were in hospital, right? Which one?"

...

Dawn had arrived. An Orange tint had painted the city with Shinichi walking in his standard uniform. Awaiting the civilian crossing to turn green, his eyes stared upon the building which read 'NHO Osaka National Hospital', to the left it had 'Emergency Services' in bright red.

The delinquent finally crossed the street as he peeled the bandage from above his eyebrow to reveal the scabby wound above which was reaching the final stages of healing. He entered the front office and moved towards the many chairs which was barely occupied. To the right was a receptionist which Shinichi turned his walk towards.

"Hello, Sir!" The old lady spoke with a cheerful voice. "How may we help you today?"

"Uhm...hello.." Shinichi spoke awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his head. "Is visiting hours still occurring? I have a friend uh...Fujita Uryu...that i'd like to see."

"I'm sorry, sir. He's currently not taking visitors." She spoke with a stern tone.

"What? Why not?" Shinichi frowned.

The receptionist pointed to the right and directed Shinichi's head to a police officer who stood guard at the entrance into the recovery hall. He held onto his bullet-proof vest with heavy hands, his eyes unwavering ahead.

"There's been a few break-ins lately and Uryu has reported men breaking into his room." She explained, "If you really want to visit him, you'll have the police escort you and to confirm your identity."

"That's fine. Please just let me see him."
Shinichi bowed.

Shinichi's eyes scanned the room number. 317...318...ah, 319. The Police knocked gently on the door with his eyes not moving from Shinichi's position, opening the door slowly as the room was dimly lit by a table-lamp. Besides it was an occupied bed with a man who had his face, albeit his eyes, nose and mouth, covered in bandages. His blonde, long hair rested on the pillow as his eyes slowly moved to the two men.

"Sorry for the interruption, Uryu." The Police bowed. "This man here is claiming to be your friend. If not, he'll be escorted out straight away."

Shinichi's and Uryu's eyes met briefly before the delinquent looked elsewhere, his eyes narrowed as he bit his lower lip. Uryu looked back at the roof like moments prior.

"Yes, I know him, Sir. Please let him stay." The bedridden teen answered.

"Of course." The Police bowed once again.

He turns to Shinichi, who gave a soft bow, before the Officer left the room with the door closing behind him. Not a word was said. Uryu didn't even return eye contact. Shinichi scanned the room anxiously before sitting besides him in an arm-chair, his arms resting on his thighs as he leaned his body forward and his head down.
