Shinichi and Fuyuto comfortably sat in the booth, sitting beside one another almost awkwardly. After a couple of seconds, a tray with drinks was placed in front of them, with Kondo sitting across. She put a glass of vodka in front of herself, a glass of sake in front of Fuyuto, and a glass of apple juice in front of Shinichi.

"Uh..." Shinichi spoke up, "Why..."

"You're a minor." Kondo interrupted. "I ain't tryna get arrested or lose my baring license."

Shinichi looked at the drink before forcing a grin and taking hold of the glass to bring it to his mouth. Fuyuto quickly leaned forward.

"So, what can you tell us about the Kijo Family and its connection to the Yunonobe family?" He inquiries, Kondo looking at him with a side glare.

"Depends whatcha want to know." Kondo shrugged.

"Why did the Yunonobe family discontinue over a decade ago?" Fuyuto pressed his fingers together, pointing his hands towards Kondo as if praying.

The bartender's eyes slowly shifted towards Shinichi, who was sipping on his cup of apple juice with unfathomable determination.

"This story involves Nakamura, would you...want to hear that from me?" She questions, to which Shinichi looks at the former Yakuza with curious eyes.

"Err...s...sure," Shinichi answered.

"Well, okay." Kondo cleared her thoughts. "I knew Nakamura since we were elementary students. He lived in the little tunnel under the bridge near my house; every night, when my father and I went for a walk, we would see his campfire lit. And him, practising his little martial arts. I think it was MMA, but I don't know. I remember he wanted to be some world-class fighter."

"So? How does this correlate to my questions? Why are you suddenly dropping this information..." Fuyuto was interrupted.

"Shut up before I kill you." She threatened, Fuyuto's eyes rolling as he leaned back. "Sooner or later, he and I became friends; we would get up to many activities at night. Illegal gambling robbery, but no matter what he did, he always ended up fighting. And this drew the attention of our former Oyabun, Shinoda Isao. Maybe it was because of my age, but he was scary. He was covered in blood and shattered glass sticking from his body; nothing but an aura of intimidation and the desire to submit radiated from him."

"And...this is where you two joined the Yunonobe Yakuza Family?" Fuyuto asked.

"It's where I joined, but Nakamura...he refused." Kondo shrugged.

"Wait, Tatsuo refuses to join?" Shinichi question, suddenly rocking up from his seat.

"Mhm." The Woman hummed as she poured her drink down her throat. "He hated the Yakuza, something about being cowards or something."

"Wait...wait...But then, how is the Second-in-Command of the Koamada Family? How did he recruit me?" Shinichi began questioning, which shocked Kondo.

"Well. I knew he admired Yamamoto's good heartedness and strength, but I didn't actually know he joined until I saw you. I haven't seen him since the Kijo Incident." Kondo explained.

A silence befell the conversing bar. Shinichi and Fuyuto shared a look, the Delinquent seeming more concerned and confused and whatever other emotion whilst Fuyuto remained interested. The former Officer once again leaned back in.

"What incident?" Fuyuto questioned, to which Kondo gulped and opened her mouth upon wondering what to answer.

"He didn't join the Yunonobe family, but it doesn't mean he didn't stick around. He wanted to ensure my safety, and well, it was a Crusade Era, a time of war, betrayal, alliances, and the lot." Kondo explained, Shinichi slowly sitting back down in the booth with trembling hands. "And we were allied with Yamamoto, and what at the time consisted of the Koamada Family. I thought my Oyabun was scary, but even he and Yamamoto struggled to defeat the Kijo Oyabun. I challenged him, and that's how I lost my leg. With one punch, he broke it so severely it needed amputation."
