Kirishima x midoriya [F]

~Third person pov~

"so, you like him?" Mina asked impatiently.

"Wh-what? No! I just- I don't know how to explain it." Kirishima threw his hands up in surrender.

"Dude, just explain it. It's not that difficult." Kaminari added, again, impatiently.

Kirishima sighs and starts to explain, "well, every time I look at him my stomach gets in knots and whenever I talk to him I get all nervous ad I start to stutter and I can't control it. And my face starts getting really hot when we make eye contact."

"Sounds like you like him to me" bakugou said not looking up from him phone and shrugging.

"Yeah bro, you totally like him, it's so obvious!" Sero added with an enthusiastic smile.

Mina squealed and started rolling on the floor. "My ship is sailing!!"

Kirishima's face turned lightly pink from the embarrassment. "Okay maybe I do like midoriya." he said while scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

~ midoriya's pov ~
Omg omg I can't believe I just heard that!  thought as I  felt  my face heat up into a dark red.

- a little earlier -

I was walking down the hall to go to the kitchen to get some water when I heard Mina say "so, you like him?" I stopped in my tracks wondering who she was talking to.

I hid around the corner and waited for someone to respond when I heard Kirishima pipe up with his cute stutter saying that he didnt like this person and saying it was difficult to explain.

My shoulders sagged slightly and a frown grew on my face as I heard that. Whoever this person is, kirishima obviously likes.

I heard kaminari tell him to just explain his feelings and when he said why he said I felt tears well up in my eyes.

I didn't want to believe that kirishima could like someone that much. I just know it's not me. I mean have you met me? I'm more awkward than anyone in class, I always stutter when I talk to people, and I mutter all the time and I'm aware that it's annoying.

I was just about to walk to my room after hearing sero ad kacchan say that he clearly liked this person when I heard something I didn't think I would ever hear.

"Okay, maybe I do like midoriya"

I gasped a little loudly before I heard some footsteps walking towards me. My face was red andi was frozen in my spot and before I knew it kirishima was standing right in front of me.

"D-did you hear any of that?" He asked me when it finally registered that it was me.

"M-maybe?" I say but it sounded more like a question.

"Shit" he said and was about to walk away. I grabbed his wrist before he could walk away.

"Who was it shitty hair!?" I heard kacchan yell from the common room.

"K-kirishima?" I said quietly.

"Y-yes midoriya?" he said hesitantly, not answering kacchan.

"I-i" I took a deep breath to calm my nerves before continuing. "I like you too, I have a while." I said sincerely.

"Y-you do?" He asked surprised. "Yeah, I do" I smiled

The next thing I know kirishima's lips were on mine.

My eyes widened from surprise before I slowly melted into the kiss, closing my eyes and holding onto kirishima's arms gently.

Kirishima's hands slowly wrapped around my waist, sending shivers down my back

A few minutes to by and before I know it I saw the flash of a camera. Me and kirishima pulled away and looked to see who it was.

It was mina holding her phone, smiling widely while the rest of the bakusquad was behind her slightly surprised.

"My ship has sailed!!" Mina yelled before walking away dragging the rest of the friend group away while saying that they needed to leave us alone.

I looked back at kirishima ad giggled just as he chuckled.

"Hey midoriya?" He said still holding onto my waist.

"Yes?"

"Will you be my boyfriend?" He asked with a slight blush covering his cheeks.

I blushed and smiled and nodded my head pulling him  into another kiss.

We pulled away and just smiled at each other.
