Chapter 5

We all help eachother get out of the bunk

Okay Mike so where do we find our tokens?" Eddie questions

"Yeah I gotta be honest man with all due respect this is fucking stupid alright why do we need tokens?! We already remember everything like saving Carla and bev,defeating IT I mean we're caught up!" Richie exclaims

I stare at the ground trying to think
"W-we cant remember do we?" Bill said

"See there's more to our story what happend that summer and those blank spaces like pages torn out of a book that's what you need to find we need to split up you each need to find your artifact alone that's important"

He looks at us all
"When you do meet me at the library tonight"

"Yeah I gotta say stastically speaking you look at survival scenarios we're gonna do much better as a group" Eddie suggests

"Yeah I mean splitting up isn't that good of an idea?.." I say slowly

"Dumb man we gotta go together all right we were together that summer" Richie says

"No" Bill shakes his head "not that whole summer

"Carla! Mikes here" my mom shouts
Shit I'm not even ready he didn't even ring me!

I open my window and see him there
"Hey!"
"Hey? You didnt even let me know you were coming I'm not ready" I shout
"Suprise!? I'll wait don't worry" He laughs

I roll my eyes and get changed heading to the door
"You don't have your bike?" I ask
"Thought we could take a walk and go to the field you know"

"Yeah okayy" I grab his hand and we walk
"So how things been?" He asks
"Good I guess what about you?"
"I'll say same"

We carried on in silence not awkward silence but a peaceful one especially after everything that happend

We get to the field and sit on a log that was there
"I can't believe summers litreally gonna be over" I groan
"School?"
"Yep and I don't wanna go"
He laughs

"Here I have something for you" I look at him confused
"A necklace?" I ask

"Yeah light blue and beaded your favourite which also used to be my grandmother's too when I told her about you and that was your favourite she gave this to me"

"Oh my god" i laugh and kiss him
I pull away to ask him to put it on for me and he does

"It's beautiful thank you" I smile
"No problem your special to me so you deserve it"

"Didn't think I would ever say this but I love you mike"

"Love you too C"

The memory comes up in my mind as I approach the field I sit down at the top the same bit where the log used to be as another memory approaches
