5 weeks after Christmas

As Lewis and Dan are out scouting, they quickly realize that they've stumbled upon a horde of infected. They try to make a run for it, but they're quickly surrounded and attacked.

Lewis engages in a brutal hand-to-hand fight with one of the infected, using his strength and training to take it down with his bare hands. Meanwhile, Dan is struggling on the ground, trying to fend off the other infected.

Just as it seems like they're about to be overwhelmed, a group of survivors comes to their rescue. They manage to fight off the infected and save Lewis and Dan.

Back in Haven Point, Sam is drinking whiskey and discussing the community's dwindling supplies with Erica. However, Erica avoids the question and instead asks Sam what they're going to do about the company that took her and thousands of others.

Sam hesitates for a moment before replying, "I don't know. We've been trying to find any information we can about them, but it's like they've disappeared completely."

Erica nods, her expression grim. "I just know that we can't let them get away with what they did. They tested on Tommy, and who knows what else they've done to other people."

Sam nods in agreement. "We'll keep looking. We have to find out who they are and what they're doing. And we have to make sure that no one else ever has to go through what you did."

As they continue to discuss their plans, they know that they're facing an uphill battle. But they also know that they have to keep fighting, for the sake of their community and for all the people who have been affected by.

Lewis and Dan stood up with their weapons ready, their hearts racing as they faced the strangers who had helped them. The strangers had masks on, but they could see the determination in their eyes.

"Easy and careful," one of the strangers said, holding up their hands in a peaceful gesture. "We're not here to hurt you. We just want to help."

Lewis and Dan exchanged a glance, unsure of what to do. But as they heard the sounds of infected charging towards them, they knew they had to act fast.

"Who are you?" Lewis demanded, keeping his gun trained on the strangers.

"We're survivors, just like you," another one of the strangers replied. "We've been watching you for a while, and we think we can help you get to safety."

Dan looked at Lewis, silently asking for his opinion. Lewis hesitated for a moment, but then he nodded his head in agreement.

"Okay," he said, lowering his gun slightly. "Lead the way."

The strangers nodded, and they all started running towards the sound of the infected. Lewis and Dan could see that the strangers were skilled fighters, taking down the infected with ease.

As they ran, the strangers explained that they were part of a larger community, one that had been able to survive the virus by banding together and supporting each other. They had been scouting the area for survivors, hoping to bring them back to their community.

Lewis and Dan were skeptical at first, but as they saw the strength and resilience of the strangers, they began to believe that their community might be worth joining an alliance with.

Lewis and Dan stood for a moment, taking in the realization that they had found a potential ally in the new community. Dan looked at Lewis and said, "We have to tell Sam about this! Maybe Haven Point and this community can form an alliance and help each other?"
