"Joey, wake up!" Danny said as he walked down the stairs with Michelle in his arms. He was feeling very tense about this day. Especially with the news he just got and with the special guest they were supposed to be having over.

With the call of his name, the man in the alcove suddenly sprung to his feet. "Good morning, how are you guys doing? Boy, it's great to be alive!" Joey called out before walking around.

As Jesse dropped down onto the couch, he groaned at Joey's loud voice. It was seven in the morning on a holiday, and he believed that it was time to sleep in. "Why can't you wake up grumpy and grouchy like a normal person, huh?" He asked with his head stuffed into the pillow.

Joey just laughed at the response he received. "Because it's a beautiful day! My sister's visiting!"

"Okay, boys, brace yourselves," Danny said as he sat down on the arm of the couch. "My mom's not coming; she's snowed in."

"Boy, it's a good thing I didn't sleep through the news."

"No, you don't get it." She was supposed to make us our Thanksgiving dinner.

"Oh, don't worry, Danny, we'll make that seven-course meal ourselves! How do you ask? With the Miracle of Thanksgiving!" Joey half-shouted with every breath in his chest. He really wanted to do this; sure, his sister would come around either way, but he felt pressured about this. He wanted to make a good first impression, which he already did.

"You are a moron," Jesse pitched in as he got up from the couch. "There's a miracle of Christmas, and there's Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, and there's Miracle Whip, but there is no miracle of Thanksgiving, huh," Jesse finished as he looked Joey in the eye.

"Oh, no? Suppose the Pilgrims landed in Florida, we'd all be eating flamingos!" Joey quips with a serious look on his face.

Danny would be smiling at this dumb argument if it wasn't for his mother being snowed in. He was stressed about it, especially since they don't know how to cook a Thanksgiving dinner! "All I know is that today everything has to be absolutely perfect," he explained.

"Why?" Jesse asked; he hadn't remembered much about why until now.

"Because it is the girls' first Thanksgiving without their mother."

"Right," Jesse said, as there was this sadness in his eyes that appeared when he remembered his sister. How could he forget?

"And it will be you know why?" Joey pitched in as he realized how upsetting this day must be for his friends.

"Why?" Danny asked as he looked over.

"Because of the Miracle of Thanksgiving!" He said as he put his arms out. "Now let's get in the kitchen and cook!" With that, the three men got up and walked into the kitchen. Jesse would have said something about the Miracle of Thanksgiving, but he'll give Joey that one.

About a couple hours later, when everybody was cooking and the turkey was going into the oven, that's when Maggie arrived. The blonde-haired woman had spent all morning trying to get ready. She wanted to make a good first impression on the people that were living here with her brother, and well, she always seemed to have a different sense of style whenever you saw her. Today she thought that it would be appropriate to wear a burnt orange blouse that had balloon sleeves and a matching corset. With this, she wore a black pencil skirt that looked very nice on her. She definitely tried her best to make the V-neck a little less deep considering that kids would be around. She had chopped off all her hair before she got here, so she decided to experiment with hot rollers. Came out rather nice in her opinion. Of course, there were her signature rosy cheeks and brown lipstick.
