From Lovers...To Nothing

Part 7

You start asking around to see if anyone has seen Loki. Mostly everyone says no, so you head out of the room looking through all the other rooms looking for him. You feel like you've looked everywhere so you decide to go for a walk, hoping by the time you come back Loki had forgiven you.

You leave the tower; you start walking passing shops and streets until you're in a part you don't recognize. It has a few flowers and benches with people everywhere. Families and friends just hanging out and laughing. You start walking around taking in the scene, thinking about how beautiful it is. In the distance you see someone leaning against a tree reading.

You slowly walking up to them to walk past because of how curious you were. Once you got closer you start to recognize the person sitting against the tree. It was Loki, you stared at him for a minute to see if he'd notice you. Nothing.

"Loki?" you question walking closer to him. No response. You lean down next to him.

"Hey" you smile at him.

"What can I do for you Darling?" he says not looking away from his book.

You sit down next to him looking at what he's reading. "I wanted to apologise for what happened earlier. I didn't mean to make you react like that" you look at him.

"I can't stay mad at you for too long Darling" he says giving you a sweet smile.

You smile then look down. "What are you reading... I read the title but what's it about?" You ask as you lay down and lean your head on his lap.

"Just a book my mother use to read to me" he mumbles but loud enough that you heard it.

"Could you read it to me?" you look up at him smiling.

"Y...You want me to read it to you?" He stutters staring at the book.

"I mean yeah... Only if that's okay with you of course"

He nods and starts reading so you close your eyes and listen. He has such a beautiful voice, so soft and calming that you start to nod off.

Loki notices you've fallen asleep and closes his book. He starts running his fingers through your hair and humming lightly.

                           The next day

You slowly start to wake up, rubbing your eyes you look around to see you were back in your room. You can feel someone's arm over you, so you turn over and see his beautiful face, his gorgeous black hair sitting perfectly as he slept next to you. You lay there mesmerized by him, then you hear his voice.

"Good morning darling" he says as he slowly opens his eyes.

You turn bright red and turn back over. "Good morning, Loki"

He pulls you closer so you turn back to him and hide your face so he couldn't see you. He moves your hands away from your face and looks at you. He laughs and kisses your forehead then hugs you.

"I don't want to get up yet" you mumble to him.

He smiles to himself. "Then we can stay here Darling"
