From Lovers...To Nothing

Part 8

Later that day - From the previous chapter -

You and Loki are messing around in the lounge room when Tony and another man come in and stare at you both not looking impressed. As soon as Loki notices then he stops and gets all serious.

"Tony" Loki says and nods.

"Uhm heyyy" you say waving at them, but you get ignored.

"Y/N can you leave?" the guy next to Tony says to you but not looking at you.

"Why would I listen to you for? I don't even know you." you say snapping back at him.

He turns his head to you with a serious face, but you can tell he looks sort of sad looking at you.

The man walks over to you and hugs you, "I'm Steve. I can't believe you really don't remember me."

You shoot a confused look at Tony and Loki they both look away from you...

"Why would I remember you? We've only just met" you say giving him a weird look.

"Just leave the room please" he says walking away from you.

"But why?" you ask this time looking at Tony for an answer.

"Just do it! God, can't you listen for once?!" Steve yells at you.

You storm off to your room and yell at him "Don't speak to me like that ever again!!"

You look around your room trying to find something to do... Bored you just throw yourself on your bed.

"I've never met Steve in my life" you say to yourself. "Who does he even think he is speaking to me like that."

after a while you get lost in your thoughts when you hear a massive crash. You jump up walking out of your room when everything went dead quiet.

You start walking around trying to figure out where the sound came from. You walked into the room where you had just been with the guys. The only thing you see is a bright blue cube looking thing.

Curious you walk up to it but not touching it. It was beautiful. You wanted to get a closer look, so you reached for it but stopped. Suddenly Bucky walked in and noticed you and asked what you were doing. He moves closer to you to see when he stops after seeing what you were looking at.

"Y/N move away from it now." Bucky says to you in a very serious tone.

"Why?" you ask him.

"Why? It's dangerous that's why." He says sounding concerned.

"How could something so beautiful be dangerous..." You say getting closer to it.

Bucky grabs you, "We don't want to lose you again. Stay away from it."

You look at him then back at the cube. You stay sitting on the ground as Bucky calls for Bruce and Tony. As soon as Loki hears that something was going on he rushed straight to you. He looked over that the Tesseract not taking his eyes off it. You look up at him and lay your head back onto his chest bringing his attention back to you.

"I'll take Y/N and you guys' sort this out" Loki says to Tony. Tony nods his head and starts talking to Bruce and Bucky

Loki helps you up and walks you to his room. "Go have a shower" he says to you as he lays on his bed. You go and lay next to him and start playing with his hair.

"My clothes are in my room. I have nothing in here" you say smiling at him.

He turns his head to you as he gets up then he goes and grabs one of his shirts for you.

"Thank you" you say walking up to him and kissing his cheek. he looks down at you and wraps his arms around your waist.

"You're very beautiful Y/N" Loki says as he gives you a light kiss on your forehead.

You wrap your arms around his neck as you lean into him more.

He looks down at you with love in his eyes. You look up at him and give him a small smile. You lean closer to him while looking into his eyes. But he lets go.

"Go for a shower" he says giving you a smile then goes and sits at his desk and starts reading a book.
