Chapter 2 : Infatuation

JISOO's POV

I have this feeling, that someone is looking at me,so decided to finish my conversation to my staff and tried to look around if there is watching me, but when I turn my head to right, there she was.. I saw the little Myoui staring at me..so I decided to say hi to her,it's been a year since she took the indefinite leave and I heard this is her first day at the hospital.

I should greet and welcome her right?

As I am walking towards them, she looks so adorable & why do I sense that Dr.Manoban was teasing her.

"Hi there Dr.Myoui, it was great seeing you." I hesitantly hugged her at first but I took my courage and I did! It was all worth it cause her cheeks are quite tainted in pink! Is she blushing?

"Ahh—hi there too Dr.Kim" she's stuttering too, how cute. " It w-was nice to see you too!" She added

"How are you feeling anyways? Do you feel any pain?" I concernedly ask.

She try to speak and open her mouth but then close it again and then I heard her say "Yeah! I am feeling awesome no pain at all"

"Hmmm... thats good to know don't tire yourself on the first day, I will talk to the resident doctor to take easy on you."

"No! Ahhh what I mean to say is let us not bother the residents I can manage myself and Lisa is here so yeah I will be fine! Thank you though!" She bowed her head as she thanked me.

"Alright then! I'm really glad that you are back!I'm so tired of seeing Dr.Manoban most of the times." I giggled at them.

"Hey! That's not fair, your too sweet with Dr.Myoui while to me your being so harsh,I'm hurt" Lisa says with her pout.

"Don't pout like that, you look like a sickening duck Dr. Manoban!" Myoui and I laughed so hard and that makes the tall doctor to pout even more.

"Hmmmm.. I should be going, Dr.Myoui lets have some lunch together." Dr.Kim says and left the two.

"Ahhh....yeah see you later Dr.Kim."

MINA's POV

"Hmmm..how does it feel you got to see your Doctor crush eehh and you got a date too.." Lisa uttered, she won't stop teasing me, well it's true I really have a big fat crush on my Senior Doctor.

Her name is Dr. Jisoo Kim she's been in the hospital for so long she's my dad's prodigy, A great surgeon and she's really cool. I met her when during our pre-med in University of Texas. I am a freshman and she's already in her junior year.It was like we are meant to meet!

*****Flashback******

Oh shoot! I only have 10minutes to catch up with my biology class and if I run fast I would be able to attend it on time.

I was running hard and almost hit someone but I never gave a damn to look at her cause I was in a hurry but when I reached the door of our room, I heard that the professor was already starting his lessons! "God damn it! I was late" I uttered to myself "How am I supposed to enter?"
My introvert self has been winning over me cause if I entered the room the professor would scold me and the entire classmates of mine will look at me and I know I couldn't handle that" I mumbled to myself!

And suddenly the door opens with full force that all my classmates gasps and the professor shouted "Why are you late Ms.Kim Jisoo?" And as if my adrenalin was kicking that time I silently entered the room without the professor noticing me sneaking in. "Whoosh thankfully"

"I'm sorry sir for being late,it won't happen again." She answered politely
"Alright you may take your sit Ms.Kim and I don't tolerate tardiness in my class." the professor instructed her.

"Hey Minari!" Lisa whispered besides me "What?"
"I think you should thanked her, that Jisoo Kim, she save your ass out there!"

"Huh! Who the hell I am thanking for" I asked her. I didn't even realised that yeah someone saved me so I can sneak in to the class! So when I look at the directions that Lisa was pointing out —- I saw the most beautiful woman alive and maybe Angels do exist in this lifetime right? Cause she's here on earth in the form of the Jisoo Kim! Is she even real? Then I heard the loud beats on my heart(oh man this is bad) (dum!dum!dum) I c-couldn't believe what may eyes are seeing! Until Lisa snapping out her fingers on my face!

"You are drooling Myoui,wipe that out! Its so gross!" Lisa managed to say and chuckling afterwards.
I came back to my senses and said  to Lisa "I'm getting married!" while I put my both hands on my cheeks and lean on my table and my eyes are dreamily infatuated with the most beautiful human being.

"You are delusional Minari! She doesn't even know your existence and now your getting married? You better listen to our professor now and maybe thanked her later."
Lisa said.

"Earth to you Minari?" While lisa tapping and shaking my shoulders.. "What now? Are you daydreaming about your wedding with the doctor? Just like when we are in freshman?" Lisa asked

"Huh?No I am not daydreaming.. and correction that's not a date. Maybe she was just being polite —ah you know?"

"How long has it been that you've been crushing on her or does it consider a crush if you are already thinking of your wedding? Minari maybe its time to give your self a chance to love and be loved now that your doing so fine and healthy."Lisa speaks and after that she bids goodbye to me cause she was being paged in one of the ward patient.

"I'll see you later Myoui. Think about what I have said pursue her if you really like her. I'm with you all the way." Lisa added and she walks briskly out of my sight. And that kept me thinking and wondering cause my heart has been telling me otherwise while my mind for sure It was her(Kim Jisoo) from the start.

AFTER A WHILE

The first day in the hospital has been really busy and the term chaos is underrated the emergency have been full with all the patients from minor to major accidents, different sickness from fever,cold,flu and many more. This is what I missed. "Dr.Myoui! Are you okay? You can take your lunch first we got these and Dr.Nakamura is here as well." One of the residents instructed me to do so. "Oh thank you! I'll go ahead now!"

I am heading now to the doctors lounge to take some rest for a while, and patting my neck and twisting it a little to ease the tension and tiresome, and suddenly someone bump into me and saw it was a little boy who is laughing still.

"I'm sorry Doctor, I didn't mean to" and he bowed to me, I bent down myself so I could talk to him on the level cause he was just a kid around 8yrs old maybe.. "It's fine buddy! what's your name?" I asked. My name is Yuta and I am looking for my father.

"I see, where do u think your father went to?"
He is with my sister cause she's having a stomach ache" he answered I take his hand and "C'mon let me help you find your father and sister cause its not good for a kid like you to roam along the hallway of hospitals, you might catch any infections here."

"Yuta! Where the hell did you go?" A man half yelled behind us "Gomen Nasai Doctor" he said and bowing onto me. "I am his father and was looking for him a while, I hope he didn't trouble you for anything" the man added

"Sore wa daijobu, He didn't cause any trouble at all I was just helping to look for you." Yuta san please don't give your father a headache and be a good kid." I will leave now and Nice to meet you.

"Arigatou Doctor" they said in unison.

OFFICE (HEAD of SURGEON)

"Yes of course Dr. Jared Kim, we will send our best doctors to help on your medical mission program in Jeju., You know that I owe my daughter's life, this is the only way we can repay you." Dr. Akira Myoui said over the phone.

She press the buzz intercom to connect to her secretary. "Please call an emergency meeting to all the Departments. Thank you!"
