I sat there and listened to her to tell me what that evil bastard did to her. She trusted me enough to tell me about her past something she has never told anyone else. I pulled her into my arms and held her well she cried. "What happened next?" I asked I need to know. "A highway patrol was doing his last rounds when he drove by and stopped when he had seen me. He covered me up and called for an ambulance. He waited there with me. Once at the hospital I had to tell the cops everything that happened and that I knew the guy that did it. I was in the hospital for 2 months and when they went to arrest Stanley my mom said I was lying and gave him an alibi and said he was with her the hole time. Soon after that I found out I was pregnant and when I decided to keep her my mother said I was an unfit mother and took her from me." she stopped and stood up and looked around the room.
I wanted to help her gain her courage back and help her to keep that little angle down stairs. Just then something clicked she started to freak out when that guy got out of the car. "Honey is he here?" I asked and the look on her face gave me my answer way before she actually answered. "He is now my step father!" she said and I turn and went for the door I was going to kill him but her soft voice stopped me. "Please don't I don't want you to get hurt please." she begged and I could never deny her anything. Her eyes where shiny with unshed tears "ok honey now lets get down stairs our baby is waiting for us" I said and smiled as a hopeful look went through her eyes.

I smiled as Daniel wrapped his arms around me and we made our way down stairs. I was scared shitless but I knew as long as Daniel was next to me I would be ok. As we walked into the living room everyone turned to look at me. "What no more kids or can't he fuck that fat body of yours.?" my mom snarled and a laugh came from my right and I snuggled into Daniel he was huge standing at 6'6'' and all muscle.
"What no hug from dear old daddy?" he asked and I was a bout to refuse but one look into my mothers face and I knew I would regret it if I did so I had no chose. So I let go of Daniel and walked over to Stanley and gave him a hug. He grabbed my ass and I squeaked out and before I knew it Daniel had him pinned to the ground with his hands behind him and a boot to his face. "If you ever touch her in that way again I swear I'll kill you!" Daniel stood and he still had Stanley's arms behind his back and twisted it more and he grunted in pain. "Apologize to her now!" "Ahh I'm sorry for grabbing your ass Tori!" he said.
Daniel dragged him to the door and threw him out. "You can sleep in the bunk house with the rest of the hands because I'll be damned it my girlfriends rapist stays in the same house as her!" Daniel had said and slammed the door. He turned towards me and held open his arms and I went running into him and cried. Out side you can hear Stanley laughing "She was good and a fighter too! I'll have her again and this time it wont be by force she'll come willingly to me!" he yelled and then we heard and cry of pain and ran to look out side to see what had happened. Rusty one of the hands that had been on since my aunt was alive was standing over Stanley. I guess he had heard what he said and punched him in the face. I smiled "Thanks." I said "No problem lass." he said.
I waved him over as I stepped out on to the porch. Once he was close enough I gave him and hug and I am guessing I shocked him because he stiffened before hugging me back. He stepped back "Well miss I best be getting back to work because my boss can be a real hard ass!" he said laughing and running off as Daniel swung to hit him. I laughed as Daniel gave chase and went back inside. "Momma I'm hungry." Jo Dee came running up to me. "Ok baby let go see what I have." I said and we walked off into the kitchen and I saw my sister but not my mom oh well. I made her some Mac and cheese. I sat her at the table to eat and told her I'd make her spaghetti tonight for dinner. She yelled in joy and I smiled I missed this. Having someone home, someone here to talk to and take care of. I have been alone since my aunt died. "Tori?" a sad voice asked and I turned to see Kaci. We walked out side and sat on the swing in the corner.
