On the shuttle with Mace, Yoda and Obi-Wan.. "Cade did not take to his new assignment with much enthusiasm." Obi-Wan said to them.. "It's very dangerous putting them together. I don't think the boy can handle it." Mace said.. "With all due respect, Master, is he not the chosen one? Is he not to destroy the Sith, and bring balance to the Force?" Obi-Wan asked him.. "So the prophecy says." Mace replied.. "A prophecy that was misread, could have been." Yoda said.. "He will not let me, Anakin, or Ashlyn down. He never has." Obi-Wan said.. "I hope right your are, Obi-Wan." Yoda said.. Master Yoda is then out to go and meet with the Wookiees..

Cade and Kina are now sitting together in the fountain room.. "Sometimes I wonder what's happening to the Jedi Order.. I think this war is destroying the principles of the Republic." Cade said.. "What makes you say that Cade? Are you missing Roan?" Padme asked.. "No, I do not miss him.. He chose to leave me.. Leave this broken Jedi Order.." Cade said to her.. "Do you feel we are on the wrong side?" Kina asked.. "What do you mean?" Cade asked her with a little annoyance.. "What if the democracy we thought we were serving, no longer exists? What if the Republic has become the very evil we've been fighting to destroy?" Kina asked.. "Do you really believe that? Because I do not.." Cade said to her.. "Yes, I do Cade.. This war represents a failure to listen.. Padme says we should be listening more to what the people want, not what the Chancellor wants.." Kina said to him.. "I agree with you my love, we should listen to the people.. But how do we get the Jedi Council to agree to such things.. All they talk about now is war." Cade said to her.. "Well you sit on the Council now, as does Ashlyn.. You should get together with Obi-Wan and try to end this war." Kina said to him.. "Spoken like a true politician, did Padme ask you to say that? Or was it Obi-Wan?" Cade asked her.. She then sensed his mood change.. "What is it, Cade?" Kina asked him.. "Nothing." Cade replied, standing and walking away from her... "Don't do this Cade, don't shut me out. Let me help you, like you help me." Kina said going to hug him.. "I told you it was nothing.. Now we should leave it there now.." Cade said to her, turning to take her in his arms.. "I only want to help my love." Kina said to him.. "I know, but this is one thing I have to do alone." Cade said to her.. "Are you sure Anakin, Ashlyn, or even Obi-Wan can't help?" Kina asked.. "No... but you can, tell me what Bunny and Janna have been up to?" Cade asked her with a smile.. Anything to distract him from the blinding thought that he was going to lose her some time soon..

It's night at the Opera, a little different than we have, but night at the Opera.. Cade has been summoned to meet with Chancellor Palpatine.. He walks along with Ashlyn and they slip into the private booth together.. "You wished to see me Chancellor?" Cade said.. "Yes, yes, Oh you brought Ashlyn." He said.. "Yes, is that a problem, Sir?" Cade asked.. "No." He said glaring at Ashlyn who smiled back at him.. "Cade, we have great news.. Our Clone Intelligence units have discovered the location of General Grievous. He is hiding in the Utapau system." Palpatine said with excitement.. "Of course you have.. So why was it relevant for Cade to come here? Why not just let the Council know?" Ashlyn asked.. "Because Cade is now my personal go-between to the Jedi Council you silly girl." Palpatine said to her.. "Oh." Ashlyn said smiling.. "At last we will be able to capture that Monster and end this war." Cade said, with some excitement.... "Yes. I think it is time your sister found something else to do." Palpatine said to Cade.. "Yes of course, Chancellor.. Ashlyn, you may go now." Cade said to her.. Ashlyn smiled.. "Of course.. Chancellor." She said as she left........................

"I can sense your unease Chancellor, what is the problem?" Cade asked with concern for his friend.. "Nothing now.. But I would worry about the collective wisdom of the Council. Especially if it did not select you for this assignment.. You're the best choice by far for the job.. Come sit with me." Palpatine said.. He gets the people sitting with him to go.. Cade takes his seat by the Chancellor.. "Cade, you know I am not able to rely on the Jedi Council. If they haven't included you in their plot, they soon will." Palpatine said.. "I'm not sure I understand." Cade replied.. "You must sense what I have come to suspect.. The Jedi Council wants control of the Republic.. They are planning on betraying me." Palpatine said to him.. "I don't think that..." Cade was saying.. "Cade. Search your feelings.. You know, don't you?" Palpatine asked him.. "I know they don't trust you." Cade said to him.. "Hmm.. Or the Senate, or the Republic, or democracy for that matter." Palpatine said.. "I have to admit, my trust in them has been shaken." Cade replied, glancing sideways at the Chancellor.. "Why? Have they asked you to do something that makes you feel dishonest, haven't they?" Palpatine asked.. Cade moves in his seat.. "They asked you to spy on me didn't they?" Palpatine asked.. Cade moves in his seat again.. "I don't wha... I don't know what to say." Cade said. "Remember back to your early teachings.. Remember when we went into the underground of Coruscant together.. Remember, all who gain power are afraid to lose it.. Even the Jedi." Palpatine said.. "But the Jedi use their power for good." Cade said.. "Good is a point of view, Cade.. The Sith, The Jedi are similar in almost every way, including their quest for greater power." Palpatine said.. "The Sith rely on their passion for their strength.. They think inwards - Only of themselves.." Cade said.. "And the Jedi don't?" Palpatine asked.. "The Jedi are selfless.. They only care about others." Cade said.. There is silence for a moment as they both watch the huge bubble with floaties singing and making music..
