It is already night time, and we both lie on each other bed. Nobody was talking. I was staring at the ceiling the whole time so did he.
When i finally decide to strike up the conversation to fill the night atmosphere. “Do you really think we will be able to escape from here?”
“What a silly question, i am the one who suppose to ask you that, Touka” he answered to my question. His deep chuckle made me quiet for awhile.
“I don't think we will be able to escape this place. I have been locked up for countless days.” i told him almost mumbling.
“They might have set up a whole listening item to listen to our conversation right now” he told me which made me smile a bit. They did not. Why would they? We can't even escape this suffocating place.
“They did not. After all we cannot run away from this place. All of the place is strictly being patrolled and lock. So there is no way we could escape.” i told him
“You think so? Why did you end up here?” he strike up a question. I know it was coming and i was not ready to answer any questions regarding WHY AM I HERE.
“I am already sleepy. I will sleep first.” i finally bid his goodnight and turned to lay on my side facing the wall.
“Goodnight then, Touka”

The loud knock on the door made me woke up first as i rub my eyes slowly before turning to look at the door. I got up walking to the door as the guy opened it and push the tray on the floor “Eat. You will need to go out later on” he said as i only kept quiet.
It's cleaning day.
Cleaning day is a day where they asked us to clean the whole field, toilets, literally the whole building. Well they dare to do it as nobody could ever can escape the building.
Like i said, the security is strict.
I carry the tray turning around to look at Kaise who seen to be sleeping just fine. This man..he probably won't even wake up if there's tsunami. I quickly slap his thigh after placing the tray down and shake him a few time “Wash your face, Kaise. We need to eat and go out after this”
“Go out? We can't even leave this room touka”
“Shut the fuck up and get your ass up. I live here longer than you do and now you seem like you know better huh?” i pinched his arm which made him hissed in pain and get up quickly. “Fine..fine..” he mumbled out sleepily as he walked into the small bathroom before washing his face.
After 5 minutes he walked out and sit down on the floor infront of me as i give him one of the boiled potatoes.
“They are also very stingy to feed us” he complained before eating the potatoes quietly “They are stingy about everything they have. They just want something to benefit them” i told him shrugging as i digged in quietly.
At least now, it doesn't feel too lonely. Having someone to talk and by your side is enough.
