“RUN!” Maya said running which made the other 5 followed her. They keep running, pushing everyone else aside with no direction at all, they would try to get back to their car but it was too crowded. It was true. Something was not right about this place. And it turns out that the place happened to have big outbreak.
Suckers everywhere, having full blast of themselves when they got to feed the hunger within them with the human's blood. Some would die, some would turned into one increasing the population of the deadly creature.
“Joel!” Touka yelled out when Joel was attacked by the suckers. She was lucky that it haven't got to bit her when Kaise hit the sucker head with the butt of his gun. He pulled Joel hand guiding her across the human's ocean. “We need to find somewhere safer!” Maya said stopping when they stop behind the walls.
Hopefully nobody would notice their presence there. So does the suckers. There's too many of the. And from where its come it was uncertain. It was too sudden that they couldn't even manage to think about it.
“i can't sense they're coming” Ryu said, breathing heavily. He leans his body against the wall getting his gun steady just in case the stupid creature would give him a surprise by any minutes
“The rooftop. Let's find the rooftop and hide there for awhile until the things becomes a little calm” Tristan told them as they look around the place.
“No we need to find a car and continue to the—” she was cut off when Joel suddenly flopped down, holding onto her arm tightly. They all watched her, her body trembled as she kept her head down. “Joel? What's wrong?..” Tristan asked kneeling infront of her before pulling her arm as he gasped out. They gasped out.
It turned out that the sucker manage to bit her on her arm. Caused her a faster reaction to turned into one they took a step back watching how Joel face suddenly turned pale “i d-dont want to die..i dont w-want to turn into one..” Joel said looking at them. Her pupils dilated, her eyes red as her lops quivered. There's fear in her eyes.
Fear of death.
“Kill me.. I don't want to kill people..” she said as Ryu took a step and point the gun on her head “I will”
She was so ready. She was ready for him to pull the trigger not until Tristan stopped him “No! She still have hope!” he yelled out in frustration making Ryu shoved him away easily “She doesn't. She needs to be killed.” Ryu said pointing the gun on her head “No! She cannot die like that!” Tristan was yelling. He was already grieving. He'd only spend less than 24 hours with Joel but the bond they'd share is strong enough.
He loves her not romantically. He knows how much she wants to survive. She has hope to see the world again. But because of the stupid suckers. They killed her hope. The hope for them to continue living their life daily.
Kaise hold Tristan from moving and stopping Ryu. Joel bid her farewell smiling at all of them just bwfore she could attack Ryu, a bullet penetrate through her skull leaving her eyes wide open as she fell down to the ground.
