Chapter 1

Homick got out of his car and slowely walked down towards the abbandoned campsite, he held the petrol tank in one hand and his colt python in the other. He walked down the hill, scanning the cars for salvagible supplies. Homick bent down scanning under the cars. He watched a girl bend down a pick up a moonshine bottle. Homick walked around and spoke to the child 'little girl, little girl, its ok, im a power plant worker'. Suddenly the girl turned around and it turned out to be lil' mary spuckler, but it also happend to be a walker, homick swore under his breath as the hillbilly girl growled and stumbled forward, as she did homick shot a bullet through her brain.

*snoreee, snoreeee

'homick, homick wake up now' lenny was screaming hystricaly, shaking homicks shoulders, lenny and carl both had their radiation suits on. Unfortunetly their attempt to wake homick up had failed, carl grabbed the phone and dialed moes tavern.

'c'mon moane answer' carl was panicked and frustrated all at the same time.

'moane's tavern, moane speaking'

'moane CODE RED!!' lenny screamed hystericaly.

Lenny and carl both evacuated the room, leaving homick behind.

Moane grabbed the beer and jumped in his car, he drove to the power plant, he could hear the meltdown sirens from miles away, finnaly he got their, the door had sealed so homcik was trapped inside and they were trapped outside. Moane popped the cap off of the bottle, and instantly homick woke up with a gasp.

One homick had processed what was happwning he instantly got to work pressing buttons, finnaly a voice sounded. Crises averted, please evacutate room before decontamination proceeds.

Unfortunetly homick didnt make it out of the room in-time.

Barls pov:

I ran out of school towards my mums car but i stopped dead in my tracks, moane was here i walked closer to see what was happening, homick wasnt their either, my mum told me what happened, we broke down, right their infront of everyone.

Homicks pov:

'heh, moane i remember that beer, you got it out the fridge and barney tried to steal it' homick turned back around to look at the beer can again, but this time it wasnt the same, it was crinkled and rusted. 'moane??'

Homick fell out of his bed with a thud, pulling all of the needles out of his arm.

Thats when he realised were he was.

'nurse, nurse??' he called out, but no reply came.

Homcik stumbled in to the lavritory to quench his thirst for water by drinking out of the tap.

After he had done so, he headed to the door, turning the knob he revealed a destroyed corridor, homick slid a trolley out of the way before stumbling into the wreckage. He walked over to the desk, calling for nurses, he picked up the telephone and put it to his ear. The line was dissconnected. Suddenly, he saw a torn up body lying on the other side of the glass.

Homick fell backwards and went down the other route. As he walked he saw the roof torn out, flickering lights, bullet holes.... And blood.... Everywere.

As he got to the end of the corridor, he saw a door with a chain around the handle and something spray painted on it.

Dont dead open inside

'huh??' homick let out a confussed sound until he read it again,

Dont open dead inside

'aahh, that makes sense' suddenly homick let out a scream 'AGGHH, no it doesnt'

Homick quickly ran through a door on his left, lighting a match so he could see. He run down the cold, metal steps, re-lighting a new match everytime the flame went out.

Soon he ran through another door wich lead into the hospital loading docks.

The sun was in homicks eyes, but as soon as he could see, he was shocked at the sight. Thwir were rows and rows of dead bodys.

Some were pilled onto eachother, others werent. But all of the dead, lifeless corpses we wrapped in a tarp, wich was stained with blood at the head of the body.

Authors note: hope you enjoyed this chapter, unfortunetly tho, i dont think their would be wnough people living in springfield to fill up those body bags, lol. And also i hope that you like the story so far.
