"It's so strange... Why are the heroes being criticized? How they dealt with things was just a little off the mark. Is it because it's their job to protect? Everyone makes a mistake or two. Are they supposed to be perfect? Modern-day heroes are so uptight. Don't you think, Bakugo?" Shigaraki explains as we all turn towards the still-cuffed and restrained boy.

"Once heroes receive compensation to protect people, they aren't heroes. That is Stain's teaching." Spinner adds.

"The peculiar system of transforming people's lives into money or glory, how society sticks tight to those rules. The citizens blame the losers rather than encourage them. Our fight is to question: What is a hero? What is Justice? Is society truly just? We'll have everyone thinking about it. We're planning on winning. You like winning, too, right?" Shigaraki continued. "Dabi, release his restraints." Shigaraki then commanded.

"Huh? This guy is just going to fight, you know." Dabi explains, turning towards Shigaraki.

"It's fine. We need to treat Bakugo equally since we're scouting him." Shigaraki explains. "Besides, you can tell if you'll win if you fight in this situation, right, U.A. student." Bakugo remained silent, still glaring at us. The room was quiet for a moment before Dabi spoke up again.

"Twice, you do it," Dabi states, breaking the silence. I laugh a bit at the sudden statement. Nobody wanted to remove the restraints on the kid because of his violent behavior and quirk.

"What, me? No way." Twice fought back.

"Do it." Dabi pressed.

"Man." Twice whined before making his way toward the boy. I turn towards Dabi.

"You know. I like you. You're a funny guy." I quietly laugh at him. His comments were always fun, and I enjoyed hearing his voice. These feelings were ones I hadn't felt in a long time. Not since Touya's death. I watched Dabi smirk, and butterflies erupted from my chest. I was falling for this man, no doubt about it, but I don't feel sure whether I want to proceed with these emotions. I don't know if he'd return them, and being villains make everything all the more complicated.

"You're the only person I can stand in the League," Dabi responded. "Everyone here either aggravates me, I don't like them, or they've completely lost it." He explains while sparing a glance at Toga, who has a sadistic grin on her face.

"Nice to know," I replied with a small smile and shifted closer to Dabi.

"I do apologize for using such forceful methods, but please understand that we are not just a non trying to commit crimes. We didn't kidnap you by accident," Compress apologized from across the room as Twice began to undo the restraints. I was somewhat wary as Bakugo's face seemed unusually calm as he watched.

"Even though our situations differ, everyone here has been restricted and suffered because of people, rules, and heroes." Tomura began as he stood up from his chair and slowly approached Bakugo, who was now rubbing at his raw wrists. "I'm sure you also-" Tomura continues before I interrupt him upon seeing Bakugo's dark gaze.

"Tomura! Back up." I yell as I rush towards him and Twice. Bakugo immediately punches them Twice in the face, which results in him flying across the room. He then runs towards Tomura and me, where I flip the blade of my ring out and stab my hand. I wasn't fast enough, though, and the explosion hit me before I could complete the wall of blood to shield us. Shielding only Shigaraki instead. I hear yelling, and my ears ring loudly in a deafeningly high pitch as I fall back, only to be caught. I look up, dazed, to see Dabi staring down at me with concerned eyes. The ringing continues as I try to understand the muffled words. I then look around the blurred room to see Shigaraki's mask on the ground. My eyes widen. "His mask," I mutter before losing to the lightheadedness I was feeling and losing consciousness. Succumbing to the darkness that enveloped me after.
