I was in tears on my way back home. Uncontrollable tears,

How could Brandon do this?

I really loved him

The love was true.

So...i got home. Mom was seated watching her movie. And as the hero kissed the heroine in the movie, she smiled. It was the first time i saw Mom smiling after so many years, and i hugged her in tears. Surprisingly, she wrapped her arms around me.

"We need to talk, Sam" she told me.

"anything" i was all ears, all of a sudden, she burst into tears.

"AM SORRY SAMANTHA, have been such a terrible mother. All the hitting and flogging....i really apologize..." She cried.

"It wont be so easy to forgive you Mom, you caused me so much pain" I also felt emotional and started to cry.

"Please" She begged.

"Where's your boyfriend? Why are you back?"

"Don't ask...I LOVED BRANDON SO MUCH BUT HE FOUND IT FIT TO MAKE ME CRY! i CAUGHT HE AND JENNIFER......." i couldn't complete my sentence and burst into tears.

"Am sorry my daughter, but did you ask Brandon how it happened?" She asked.

" I dont wanna hear anything" I went upstairs to my room. I feared being pregnant because i knew now there was no boyfriend. The only hope in life was Mom. And i thought i could actually trust her.

                                                    JENNIFER'S P.O.V

Dad was home by the time i got there. I screamed and ran to hug him.

"How's your friend Sam" he smiled and i nodded, peeking into the paper he was holding.

"So, what's mine..." I winked.

"OK, before eating, am gonna let the cat out of the bag. My boss looked at your degrees and he's accepted you in the Culinary School In Korea " He announced and Mom and i screamed.

"WOOOOW!!!! I LOVE THAT COUNTRY!" I was so happy.

"You deserve it...there was not enough cash to register Samantha" He looked disappointed and Mom said;

"Aren't you happy Jennifer's fixed? And i dont see a reason you should send Sam to any culinary school"

"Hilda, Sam is a good friend to our daughter, we have to assist...

"Come for your dinner"

All through the dinner i was thinking about Samantha and Brandon. Mom asked me to ruin their relationship...what i like doesnt matter to Mom, it's all about the money. I should get them back together.

                                                  SAMANTHA'S P.O.V

I was still crying at night when my phone buzzed.

"Hello Sam -

"DONT TALK TO ME!" I Screamed at her.

"Sam, am really sorry, give me a chance to -

I hung up. Brandon also phoned, i had a lot to say.

"Brandon, why did you betray me like this?" I asked him.

'I CAN EXPLAIN! I WAS UNCONSCIOUS!" he yelled. I hated when he said that unconscious stuff. I remained heartbroken. Now that my mom turned a new leaf, i was happy. I realized all i needed was a mom who loved me but i found someone who brought me up and took care of me! But why did he betray me??

Years passed, i had a very good friend named Brittany and we were both in the American (Our country) Culinary School. Mom got a job and i was also working part time in Prime Meals International to pay my fees. Whenever Brandon came, i acted like a normal waitress serving a customer, the normal way. Brittany and i graduated at 29 together.

One day, i was coming from our apartment to get some groceries when i saw Brandon.

"Hi Sam" he waved.

"How're you?" I asked casually.

"am good" he smiled. I went closer to him. He was just a few inches taller. I could hear his heart beating fast, mine wasn't beating fast, it was RACING!

"Can you - truthfully tell me what happened between you and Jennifer years back?" I asked him.

"I told you...she drugged me...but she still had my contact and called me last month, telling me her mom asked her to do it." He confessed.

"WHAT?! I KNEW HER CRAZY MOM HAS SOMETHING AGAINST ME! SHE JUST HATES ME!" i grumbled.

"Thanks for hearing me out, Samantha." He smiled.

"Its ok" I said uncomfortably and turned to leave.

"What's your address?" He asked me.

"I live in one of those apartments very near to Prime Meals." I told him and left.

I woke up fresh the next day, and heard loud music outside. It was a love music.

"Brittany, wake up, do you hear that?" I asked her.

"Uhmmm...yeah, go check who it is..." She said sleepy and covered herself up with the sheets. I reluctantly got up to check who it was. There was a band outside playing the music and everyone including uninvited guests were there.

"Mom....Jennifer.....Brandon??" I was dumbfounded as Brandon walked towards me with his hand behind him.

"Samantha Gregory, ever since i met you in Prime Meals, i've been so attracted. You melted my cold heart. Then, i was still mourning my siblings...but YOU! You were that girl. After realizing gay was wrong, i got it in all my way to know you better and ask you this question. I have never loved anyone like i love you. You're special to me.

                                   Will you marry me?

There was a beautiful diamond ring.

"OF COURSE! OF COURSE YES!" The crowd went wild with cheers as i jumped into his open arms.
