Chapter 16 ...And fire

Previously, Y/n as upper rank two Doma had Todoroki on the ropes with both using Ice attacks. At first it seemed that Doma would win even attempting to absorb Todoroki, however after looking to Yoriichi and seeing an unknown groups of swordsman he hesitated. That hesitataion allowed Todoroki to break free from Doma and suprise him by using his flames to overwhelm the upper rank. But things didn't end there as once the flames died down Y/n showed a new form that seemed familiar to Yoriichi. Who is this new form how will things develop from here, well keep watching and you will see.

???: "SET YOUR HEART ABLAZE!"

This new form shouted out before blinking and looking down at himself still with a constant smile on his face. 

???: "Well now, this is definitely a new one" he looked to his blade looking at his reflection in it (I look like that swordsman) tightening his grip on the blade he looks ahead at Todoroki and got into a swords stance "Todoroki, this fight it has been fun but I think its time to end things here and now"

Todoroki: the boy simply nods with his right side flairing up ready to continue their fight

???: "Normally i would introduce this form but even I admit that this is new to me, during our battle i'll think of a proper name but until then I wish you luck" closing his eyes he took in a breath "Flame breathing, First Form: Unknowing Fire" dashing forward he delivers a horizontal sword strike aimed for todoroki's neck

Todoroki backs away avoiding the attack but still feeling the heat and flames that come off the swordsman blade. Wasting no time he sends a pilliar of ice directly at the swordsman pushing him back before sending a stream of flames at him. 

???: "Flame breathing, Fourth Form: Blooming Flame Undulation" Preforming a single circular slash in front of him he blocks the approaching flames with his own. He then quickly started to rush Todoroki who sent ice towards him having it crawl/creep along the ground "Second Form: Rising Scorching Sun!" unleashing an arcing vertical slash in an upwards motion he shatters and melts the ice while continuing his rush (One more attack!) "Fifth Form: Flame Tiger" as he rushes Todoroki flames start to circle and form around him taking shape of a large tiger, upon closing the distance the flame tiger was just about to make contact with Todoroki until the half and half user uses his flames to overtake the flame tiger fallowed by sending Ice at the swordsman. The swordsman had little time to react cutting at the ice the best he could but still being hit in a few places leaving him with minor cuts on his arms and legs and one large one on his forehead with bled profusely making him close his left eye.

PM: "WOAH! this battle has really heated up in more ways then one but it looks like Y/n L/n is worse off with those injuries" 

Hearing that many in the crowd thought that it was over and Todoroki was going to win, well all except for one.

Todoroki: (He's not done yet) he thought to himself looking at an injured Y/n

???: breathing heavily and injured he tired to catch his breath having used so many breathing techniques in rapid succession was taking its toll, lening on his sword and coughing a bit he eventually recomposes himself (One more.... just one more to finish this but what technique) he then felt his arms moving on there own gripping his katana tightly as he speaks out "Todorki... lets finish this..." closing his eyes for a moment he suddenly opens them with determination "My name... Is Kyojuro Rengoku!"

Yoriichi: Hearing that name he could only smile while having slight tears in his eyes (It really is him)

Kyojuro:  "Flame breathing, Esoteric Art" strong flames were let off from him along with a powerful aura as he stares down Todoroki "Set your hear ablaze and go beyond!"
