The days after the Maximoff siblings were reunited were awkward at best. It took Maxi a while to get used to having someone else in the house besides Agatha and Ebony. Eventually, the sibling's bond grew stronger, and they began to love each other as they had a long time ago.
Maxi was hesitant to tell Pietro about himself but it didn't take long for him to start to open up about himself. At first, it started simply by exchanging favorite colors and foods. Soon after, Maxi started to reveal small details about his past piquing his brother's interest
Eventually, he had to explain to Pietro how he met Agatha which also meant telling him about his time with the team and his time with Conner. The talk would be hard but he didn't want to keep secrets from his only family. So, after a short while Maxi was ready to tell him everything.

Maxi called Pietro over to the living room to talk with him. Maxi had only turned his back for a second and turned back to see Pietro already in the living room. "Oh I didn't expect you to get down here so quickly," Maxi said with a raised eyebrow as he set the table for tea.
"I figured it's time we got to know each other a little bit more," Maxi said sitting down in an armchair across from his brother. After taking a deep breath he began telling Pietro what happened from the very beginning not sparing any details.
By the time Maxi was finished he hadn't noticed Pietro holding his hands in reassurance. "I'm sorry for what you went through and I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you but if your friends are as great as you make them sound at least you were in good hands," Pietro said giving Maxi a tight hug.
Maxi happily returned the hug squeezing Pietro just as tight. It felt good finally getting everything off of his chest Maxi thought as he and Pietro let go of each other. "Since we are getting things off our chest I guess it's my turn no?" Pietro asked to which Maxi simply responded with a confused look on his face.
"After the bombing, I thought I had lost everything, I wandered the streets in a daze until I came across a man who said he could give me a new purpose in life." Pietro began as he ran his hand through his hair before continuing.
"He brought me to a lab of some sort where he ran experiments on me for years. The pain was excruciating but I didn't even care" Pietro said with a light chuckle. "I thought I had lost everything and I was ok with dying in that lab if it meant I got to see my family again"
Maxi placed a hand on Pietro's knee while he continued his story. "During one of the experiments I discovered I was given a newfound power," Pietro said as Maxi's eyes widened. "I can run at fast speeds" Pietro announced.
Instantly Maxi's mind went to a certain speedster he knew and wondered if he and Pietro would've gotten along. "So you're fast and I'm weird" Maxi joked getting a laugh from his brother. While the twins were talking Agatha watched from the kitchen with a small smile on her face.
"So, how often do you use your powers?" Maxi asked his brother while fetching something from the kitchen. Feeling a breeze Maxi looked to his left to see his brother leaning against the counter "Pretty often" Pietro answered with a playful look on his face.
"Do you miss him?" Pietro asked changing the tone of the conversation. "Of course, I do," Maxi answered immediately "Not a day has passed where my mind hasn't wondered if I made the right choice" Maxi continued wiping a single tear from his face.
"However, I can think of at least one positive," Maxi said as a smile made its way back onto his face. Smiling back at Maxi Pietro gave him a big hug. "It's so nice seeing the two of you reunited"
Agatha spoke from around the corner while petting Ebony. "Thank you, Agatha, we never would've found each other if you hadn't helped me that day"
"I only gave you the opportunity, the rest was all you," Agatha said as she set down Ebony so the cat could run free. "Now then, it's time for your next lesson" Agatha announced before leaving the kitchen.
"So what does she have you do anyway?" Pietro asked following the pair of witches outside. Before Maxi could come up with an answer Agatha answered for him. "Maxi has been practicing his ability to manipulate the very field of probability itself" Agatha explained.
From the look on his face, Agatha could tell that Pietro didn't really grasp what she was saying. "In Laymen's terms, Maxi can manipulate the outcome of events up to an atomic level," she said as she watched the lightbulb go off in the speedster's head.
"Does that mean we could win the lottery?" Pietro asked as dollar signs appeared in his eyes. Maxi shook his head at his brother's antics but he keep the idea in the back of his head just in case.

Once the trio made it to a clearing in the forest Pietro went off to the side while his brother studied with Agatha.
As Pietro watched his brother practice witchcraft his mind went back to what Maxi told him about his previous life. He recalled what he said about his friends and his curiosity got the best of him.
while Maxi and Agatha were busy he decided he was gonna check them out.
In the blink of an eye Pietro was gone. Pietro journeyed out of the ghost town of Salem and got on a nearby highway. After a short time, Pietro passed a sign that read Happy Harbor 15 miles ahead.
