Mount Justice
When Maxi Maximoff said that he was going to find Klarion he meant it.
When the others realized that they couldn't stop Maxi even if they wanted to they decided the least they could do is be his backup. Following the scarlet witch to a nearby field, they all waited for his next move.
"I can feel him somewhere," Maxi thought as he focused on the distinct chaotic energy that belonged to the witch boy "All I have to do is bring him to me"
Reaching out in front of him Maxi felt around for something before appearing to find it. With little effort, he managed to tear open a portal to a different dimension much to the surprise of those around him. Feeling around Maxi didn't stop until he appeared to grab something and began to pull it through the dimensional tear.
Only for "it" to be a he. Maxi had managed to not only find Klarion but bring him out of hiding just like he said he would. "Hey, what's the big idea-" Klarion started before freezing once he noticed what had happened.
"Maximoff! did you do something with your hair?" Klarion asked feeling Maxi's stare intensify. "I'm only going to say this once," Maxi said calmly while taking a step closer to Klarion.
"I was going to give you some grace and let you live after you had your hand in my possession, but to attack me twice? You must not want to live anymore do you?" Maxi questioned while simultaneously lifting Klarion off the ground.
Trapped in Maxi's hold Klarion tried to defend himself "Look I'm sorry about the whole helping an elder god possess your body to take over the world thing" Klarion said feeling Maxi's grip tighten.
"But I haven't done anything since, honest!" Klarion begged. "Do you honestly expect me to believe you?!" Maxi shouted.
Just as the others were about to step in Maxi quickly turned his head towards them freezing them in place. "If it wasn't you then who?" Maxi asked loosening his hold over the witch boy.
"Someone's been tampering with forces far beyond their control" Klarion answered "It's the work of the Darkhold"
In shock, Maxi released Klarion dropping him on the ground. "Impossible, I got rid of that damned book"
"I'm afraid it's not that easy," Klarion said dusting himself off " The darkhold is far too powerful to be destroyed by just one person" he explained. "Even for you" he added. "If what you're saying is true then how did it fall into someone else's hands?" Maxi asked loosening his grip slightly.
"I'm afraid I don't have the answers you're looking for" Klarion answered.
"Then I no longer have any use for you," Maxi said as he retightened his hold over the witch boy. With a flick of his fingers, he reopened another portal behind Klarion and roughly tossed him back before closing it just as fast as well as letting go of the others.
