Ch.13 The Past

3rd person POV

"They said she got a letter from Cha Do bin asking for forgiveness and he wanted to meet her," the doctor says.

"You mean the son of the Cha corporation," the nurse says.

"I'm not sure but not many are named that," the doctor said.

Chen Xue's POV

I start to regain my consciousness and look around it's so bright and the members are all surrounding me my head hurts as I suddenly remember what happened.

"Xiao Xue you're awake," Yao jie says.

"Doctor she's awake," Cheng ge yells.

"I'm sorry it's my fault I shouldn't just read things that are not addressed to me," Lao Mao says worriedly.

"It's alright"

"But Xiao Xue who is he and why is he calling you Xiao Xue is he close to you?" she says.

"Well...

Flashback

When I was in the seventh grade, I went to Korea for 2 years while I was there: I met Cha Dobin the son of the Cha Corporation the largest in Korea. He was quiet and good at everything he never really spoke much and didn't have any interests. But that changed when I came. I never tried to throw myself at him trying to get some of his money. I actually tried to talk to him. I treated him just like anyone else, and soon he became fond of me slowly but surely we fell in love. Then his family wanted him to study in the US so I decided to come with him. In my freshman year, he confessed to me although he was a sophomore that didn't matter to me. We loved each other dearly his parents liked me too everything was going just fine, we were even going to get married after college we even had an apartment together, and I even succeeded in my dream of becoming a streamer. But in his last year of high school, his dad had a big project, and the only way they had enough funds for it was if Dobin was married off to the daughter of the Lee group. His parents agreed but he refused sternly. Dobin told me about this I was upset but couldn't do anything i was powerless, however, his parents forced him to have the marriage. He promised me he wouldn't do anything, that he'd stay loyal to me and I trusted him. One day I was waiting for Cha Dobin he had promised me we would go out after he was done doing a public appearance with his "fiance". I stood there frozen, unable to move, and heartbroken as I watched him kiss the daughter of the Lee group. His promise he would never do anything shattered right before me it was empty. I ran out of there tears streaming down my face as Dobin saw me he stormed after me. As I ran I realized that I was just a normal girl that had nothing, while she was the daughter of a chaebol and she had everything. But I had nothing to offer, I said to myself as I reached the entrance of the door but suddenly someone grabbed my wrist

"Please Xiao Xue it's a mistake,"  he held me closer trying to coax me.

"What do you mean a mistake? You promised me, Dobin!" I shouted at him distressed.

"Please listen to me," he pleaded. But I wasn't having it cheating is the worst thing a guy could do in a relationship and I was not tolerating it no matter how much I loved him.

"No, Dobin I know I'm just a normal girl! She's your fiance I have no place here I'll leave is that good enough? Sorry for being such a distraction in your life!" I cried out.

"Fine leave then just know I can always find you and your family you can leave me for now but remember there will be consequences to bear. Go on you can't escape me."

I ran out of the building scared for my life I left a note at our apartment saying: "I won't ask you to leave I'll go myself I hope you have a bright future and everything you ever need" I went back to live with my parents I let go of everything depression overwhelming me. I decided to move back to China as my parents wanted to be back home. I quit streaming and got rid of everything that reminded me of him or allowed him to track me with.

"I decided to go to law school and work hard to be independent and have a good job not to get
thrown away anymore," I explain as tears start to well up in my eyes.

"He sounds like such a scum but how did he find you why did he send the letter," Rui ge says.

"That time we were supposed to go out for dinner and I meant YQCB Hierophant that was him I don't know why he was there but seeing him shocked me to the core"

"There's no way that's him he wouldn't do that," Cheng ge says.

"It was him if you don't believe it searches Cha Dobin," I said as he started to pull out his phone and there he was on the screen staring back.
