Ch.1 Recruited

Hi, this is the author here and I just wanna say this will be written from all different kinds of perspectives sorry for any grammar errors this is my first story and I don't know the game that well sorry if I got stuff wrong.

Chen Xue's pov:

I was at home finishing some stuff for the university although I already graduated. When I got a notification on my phone I was surprised because it was from the coach of ZDGX one of the top Onmyoji arena professional Esports groups.

They were asking if I was interested in trying out to play with them I only started playing not too long ago probably three months or so ago. I spent so much time on it any free time I got wasn't a lot though after all I still had college at the time. At first, I played to get my mind off other things but then I became really invested in the game to the point I would stay up until 1 in the morning.

I played the lower support role and had gotten pretty good at it. But not good enough to play professionally or at least that's what I thought. I was wondering if I should accept the offer but if I did then all those years of studying at Beijing University to be a lawyer would go to waste what would my parents think I really like to game but what would be better?

Would it be safe though? What if he finds me then again? He probably wouldn't have the time to come for me though after all. He probably gave up it's been 3 years already.

As I was thinking about this a tear fell down my face. "Stop don't cry," I told myself it's already done with. That's when I decided I was not gonna let others control me again so I accepted the offer.

Next thing I know I'm on a plane to Shenzhen after I land. I go to their base camp wondering if this was a scam and what if they call the cops on me. Then again I do know two of them so maybe they can help me. All these thoughts came running through my head. While I was standing at the door suddenly the door opened it was Rui the manager of ZDGX.

"Hello, you must be Bunny ( her in-game ID)," Rui says as I feel so nervous right now.

"Y-yes hello," I said with a stutter.

"What are you doing outside you are welcome to come in and also you can call me Brother Rui," he says with a smile on his face as I was calming down relieved it wasn't a scam I walked inside and saw Yao jie and I go up and say hi.

"Yao jie!" I say with a smile on my face.

"You're finally here Xiao Xue! We have so much to catch up on," Sister Yao says happily as I see Brother Cheng walking to his seat.

 "Cheng ge," I say to Cheng as he looks at me.

"Wait you all know each other," Brother Rui says confused.

"Yes, I grew up with Yao jie when I was little and my cousin is Cheng ge's family doctor," I say while Brother Rui is looking at me.

"Well since you already know them let me introduce the rest sitting next to Si Cheng is Fatty next to Tong Yao is K and next to K is Lao Mao on the other side is Lu Yue Oh and that one right there is God Ming," Brother Rui says. That's when I realize and quickly try to look away hoping he doesn't see me. But nevertheless, Yue Ge walks over to me and picks me up, why now? Did he really just have to tease me now though?

"Hey don't do that! The first time I meet you in years and the first thing you do is this," I say embarrassed and he just laughed it reminded me of when me and Yue Ge were in collage. I kept teasing him and he got fed up so he picked me up and went through the whole school shouting a bunch of nonsense it was so embarrassing.

"What are you doing?" fatty said as everyone looked at us.

"Oh by the way my name is Yang Chen Xue," I say still blushing.

"Anyways Chen Xue how about you play a game with us to see your skill level," God Ming says as I nod in agreement.

I sit down and start playing with them. I start to farm to higher my level once I'm at a max I tell K to help me gank the top lane and he agrees. It goes well but then people start attacking out of nowhere from being the bush and I call for support I use one of my skills and get the first blood and double kill. that's when everyone else joins in and we manage to kill them all so we go steal the Orchi and we get it right before the other players respawn. Then we get the high ground then we go into a 5v5 K dies but we manage to kill the rest and take down the tower and win. (I'm sorry if any of this is wrong)

"Good job," Tong Yao says.

"Wow Chen Xue you are a fierce player you act fast too how long have you been playing," Lao Mao says to me.

"Not too long ago probably like three months or so," I say they all looked at me surprised.

"You play really well for being so new to the game you are exactly what we are looking for would you like to join our team?" Brother Rui says as I look down hesitantly.

"You don't have to say yes right away I'm not trying to pressure you how about you come to our game next week in Harbin," Brother Rui said as I nodded.
