"your words are like a melody, they won't leave my head."

He hated him to guts.

Walking around like a king, not talking to anyone but his friendgroup and looking at the new, young players like they don't belong here.

Some would idolise him, because on the pitch his performances speak for themselves. Before Kai joined the first team of Bayer Leverkusen he also idolized him a bit. But after seeing his awful, cold personality everything changed.

Julian may be one of the best players in the Bundesliga right now, but besides the pitch he was just an asshole.

As a younger player you always feel a bit smaller. You want and need to prove yourself. As if that is not already hard enough, the looks of a certain blonde player doesn't make it any easier. But Kai decided he won't let himself get scared of him anymore.

He can talk to his best friend Kevin. They can talk about him, he would show them that he doesn't give a fuck. It's important what the Trainer thinks and okay maybe it's a bit important what the captain thinks, but if he continues to deliver good performances then had to play with him at the game on Sunday.

In their last training before the Match, Kai did exactly what he wanted to. He didn't care that they didn't talk to him or acknowledge him. The looks he got were always hard, but he could cry about that later if he needed to.

After a while he noticed that he got more eyes on him than normally. Maybe his change of behavior showed and he would honestly  lie, if he said he wasn't proud that the look on Julian's face was different from what he's used to.

After a very good training session, most of his teammates started to go into the dressing rooms.

Kai's team did lose in the end so that's why he was still carrying the last things into boxes, as the looser team always had to take care of that.

He hadn't noticed that the last two men on the training ground were him and a certain blonde asshole, but he was about to know.

"You really wanna play tomorrow, huh?"

Kai turned around, surprised he heard his voice and seeing Julian leaning on the goal.

"No, I came here just for fun." he said sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"Okay, that's what I thought anyways." Julian answered.

Kai knew he only wanted to trigger him. He was about to laugh.

A few weeks ago he would probably apologise, begging him to give him a chance on Sunday. But not today.

"Asshole." is what he muttered instead.

"What?"

"You heard me."

"Yeah and yet i'm still thinking what the fuck. You're really getting triggered that easy? You should think again of who you're talking to."

"I know exactly who I am talking to. A player that maybe does his talking on the pitch but otherwise doesn't care about anything but himself. A captain which is not talking to the young players coming into the club, because he's too busy to talk shit over them and give them judging looks at every chance he gets. But I don't care anymore. I honestly don't know why you're captain because you're not a fucking teamplayer, but you're also not the trainer so I give a fuck of what you think. Think whatever you want, i don't care anymore. You can talk your shit, but if I perform i'll be on the pitch and you have no saying in that."
