Unwanted Being

Adam reached his home and saw his parents arguing. It was just only an argument until Adam
heard something and when he came down he saw his mother holding and covering her cheek.
He immediately realized that his father just slapped her and he took an action against it and
shouted at his father to back up. His father rose his hand to hit him too but, he held his hand
and pushed him back, and shouted at him to go away. He threatened them and left the house.
Adam checks her mother's cheek. It was very red with his father's handprint. He said "He beats
you sometimes, why don't leave him? She replied that she lost her love for him when he first
slapped her and she's an orphan so she has nowhere to go but just stay here for you as I know if
I leave, he'll beat you instead of me. He's changed, he wasn't like that. He was a caring person
but alcohol changes people, they do things they never meant to do. Adam didn't say much and
made her food and let her rest and his father didn't come home that night.
