Sizwe has been acting weird since they returned from Bloemfontein. Actually they all did. They had beefed up security and didn't want Thando to leave the house. The more the she pressed on the matter the more tight lipped they were. Thando was just fed up with being in the dark. She had Physiotherapy appointment and she had arranged to meet at the practice. If they were not going to tell her what was wrong she would have to do her own investigation."Sizwe can you take me to my appointment?" Thando asked from the bathroom door. Sizwe was busy on his laptop like always. He didn't even look at her when he nodded his head. She quickly got dressed and ready for the pain. Her sessions were intense because she wanted to get on her feet as soon as possible but the pain was also intense and sometimes unbearable.
She hated how Sizwe treated her since the injury. He acted as if she was glass and anything would make her break. She was finally able to walk with one crutch but Sizwe still insisted on carrying her around. He hardly even touches her anymore. He kept on saying she should get better before they could think about intimacy. They were married and he was keeping her at arms length.
Sizwe hated seeing Thando in her sessions. She pushed herself too much and the stupid therapist was not scolding her. Her whole body was covered in sweat and her poor leg was hardly holding on. She would take a few steps and stumble a bit. She had enough time to heal why was she rushing.
"Hey, Mabutho what have you found out about that old man?" Sizwe said stepping outside of the practice room. "Not much, no one really knows a lot about Ghost but word on the street is that Gogo Ndaba owed the man a big debt." Mabutho said. "Ok, keep digging." Sizwe said and hung up. This whole ghost situation had him going crazy. He had to find a way to protect Thando from all this madness.
"Hey, I am done." a sweaty Thando walked out into the hallway with her crutch. She was limping more intently now. He wanted to carry her but she didn't want him carrying her around like she was broken. She didn't understand that he did it more for himself than for her. "Ok, when we get home get ready to go out." Sizwe said as they walked slowly to the car.
"Ok, did he say where you guys were going?" Lerato said looking at pile of clothes on the floor. "No, he just said, I must get ready and now I am freaking out." Thando said trying on another dress. The scars on her legs were a big insecurity but she wanted to look good. "What do you think?" Thando asked doing a little pose for Lerato to show off the body hugging, short black dress. It looked amazing on her and it hid most of her scars which were located more on her upper thighs. "I love it!" Lerato screamed. The two ladies looked for matching shoes, jewellery and a bag. Thando was almost ready for her date with her husband. She wanted his jaw to drop to the floor and leave him drooling.
Lerato did her makeup and styled her hair. She was finally going out for a date with a guy. Thando was a late bloomer and by the time she walked into the dating scene she was so unsure. She just kept on cancelling every time anyone asked her on a date. But, with Sizwe she could not wait to leave and spend a romantic night together .
"Yeah, ok." Sizwe was on the phone listening to one of suppliers complaining about their product. He was not in the mood for this, especially not today. "Sizwe." Thando said walking into the room. She had on a body hugging black little dress which made her body scream sexy vixen. Her makeup was light and complemented her natural beauty. Sizwe knew that Thando was beautiful but he just realised how lucky he was to be with this woman who was beautiful both inside and outside. "You look amazing." Sizwe said getting up from his chair. "Well, you didn't give me much information so I was not sure what to wear." Thando said with a satisfied smile. "I love it." Sizwe said holding himself back from wrapping himself around her and cutting this date short but she was too excited about tonight.
