"He was the storm she never prayed for, And yet, she was the silence he could never survive."
"You walked into the lion's den, sweetheart," he whispered, stepping closer. "And lions don't let go so easily."
He looked down at her leg, at her trembling hands, and the fear in her eyes.
"A beautiful young girl like you," he chuckled, "shouldn't have come here alone. You should have brought help beforehand, thought about your safety first."
She tried again. Nothing. Her hands began to shake. She looked up at him, horror dawning in her eyes.
"You planned this."
He chuckled darkly. "No. But I don't exactly leave loose ends."
She gulped, realizing she'd taken a foolish step and landed into the lion's den. His amusement faded, replaced by a dark intensity. His eyes seemed to bore into her soul.
He closed the door, the sound echoing through the room. His gaze roamed her face, her skin now a pale canvas of fear.
"Beautiful," he whispered, his voice laced with satisfaction. He examined her wounded leg, his touch gentle.
"Now, you're my hostage too,"he murmured."No not just my hostage, but rightfully mine.I won you."
Her eyes snapped open.
"I didn't want to involve you,"he continued, "but seems like fate has different plan."
Her gaze fell, shame and fear mingling. His fingers brushed against her wounded leg. Her tears landed on her lap.Her mind raced with worst-case scenarios. His fingers lifted her chin.
"You should've brought an army, sweetheart. Not just a pretty face."
Their eyes met.For a moment, his hardness softened.
"Is it paining?" he asked. She nodded.
His thumb caressed her cheek.
Her lips quivered as she whispered, "So... what now?Do you want me to take off my clothes?"
He froze.A dangerous silence filled the room.
His eyes darkened-not with lust, but with something messier. Angrier. Like her words had sliced something in him he hadn't expected to feel.
"Don't tempt me.I might say yes."
"I'll study hard, find a job, and clear your every penny."
