Benji was on his run , one of the three he participated in a day , sprinting and loud music blasted in his ears from his earphones ,
And he sped up slightly when he sensed a few members of his pack not far away , including his pup.
" why are you all outside during the night ", he muttered as he came to a stop beside them , and stiles let out a loud shriek as Liam jumped back , the only calm one was Theo , who only smiled in amusement at the two , and glances to the tallest out of them curiously
" what am I doing , what are you doing ", stiles called out , trying to calm his breathing and pointed at Ben accusingly
" I live here , and I'm on a run ", benji stated in a duh tone , giving the two weird looks , and Liam exhaled audibly
" we were , uh , yunno , we , we were just hanging out ", stiles splutters slightly , and leant his shoulder on Liams as if to be more casual , only resulting in benji pulling Liam closer to him , he didn't like it when other people touched what was his , it didn't matter who does it , it annoyed him when someone would even brush shoulders with his cub
" yeah , sure you were", benji scoffed , obviously not believing the two , and Liam winced are his tone
" your coming with me , I'm not leaving you in the dark ", benji muttered mostly to himself as he looked at Liam , letting the smaller boy snuggle to him , not caring about the slight coat of sweat layered on his dark skin
" and your getting in your jeep , going home before malia has time to think about where you've disappeared to ", he tells stiles
" yes sir", he mock saluted , giving a small glare to Theo before stepping off
" and your going home too , I don't care , just go home , somewhere that is presumably inside and safe ish ", benji nodded to Theo , not taking in his surprised face by his small show of care to him and dragged Liam with him on the small walk back to his house

" Tracy wasn't just having trouble sleeping . It was a real disorder . It was night terrors ", Lydia spoke to the pack, pacing slightly besides the keep
" well , now she's the night terror . Especially since no one can find her ", stiles muttered
" okay , I know we're all tired and miserable ....", Scott cut himself off as he noticed an overly energised Mason beside him , and then he glanced to benji , who shrugged with his arms still wrapped around Liam
" except for you ", Scott stated to Mason
" oh , I'm sorry . This is all just mind blowing ", he spoke , hi tone giddy like , and Liam winced as he leaned more into benjis taller and bigger stature
" your a kitsune ", he guestured to kira , who gave him an uneasy smile
" I don't even know what that is "
" I'm still learning ", kira shrugged
" Liam , we said you could tell him . Not invite him to the inner circle ", stiles looked to the boy , who cringed slightly bay his words
" uh , I'm in the inner circle ", Mason asked , and benji chuckled as everyone protested , the rumble of his chest soothing Liams tiredness and he sunk more into Ben sleepily
" guys , look , back to Tracy . She's just one lone wolf-
" she's not a wolf Scott , her scent was fucked , i could only sense chemicals , she's made from a lab or something, she's definitely not natural , she's like the guy me and Isaac took out , the one that tried to take your power , they're similar , I don't think it's a good idea to look for her", benji cut him off with a shake of the head
" we should at least try to find her ", Scott sighed a bit dejected
" one lone serial killing wolf", malia added
" uh , she only killed one person , you know . The other two were mauled . What do we do when we catch her ", stiles spoke
" I say we put her down ", malia suggested , and benji and Isaac nod in agreement , causing Scott to give his boyfriend a look as everyone went quiet
" intense ", Mason stated as he looked between everyone
" guys , let's concentrate on catching her first , we'll figure out the rest later ", Scott decided , and benji sighed
" okay , but for the rest of the day we're resting , you're all already worn out , we'll go to mine , relax and sleep it off , then catch her tomorrow or later in the day ", benji told them , leaving no room for arguments, Isaac grinned happily along with malia , kira and Mason didn't know how to respond , for obvious different reasons
" cool, I miss my bed ", Isaac called out giddily, and Scott smiled softly at the sight , but Mason was confused , why did Isaac have a bed at benjis house

" holy shit , your place is big ", Mason cursed from the back of benjis car as the garage opened
" it's bigger inside , benji uses the nature to hide it so it looks smaller ", Liam chuckled from the passenger seat , making Mason go agape .
Seeing Isaac sprinting out of the jeep and running up the stairs , benji snorted at his behaviour, parking as Scott jogged following after his taller boyfriend
" we're going to shower ", malia called out as she dragged stiles with her up the steps
" clean up any mess you make , and use the one in the hall ", benji called after them , hearing stiles yell okay in reply
" is it bigger that the last time i was here ", Lydia asked as she came to stand by benji with kira following her , and Liam went straight to bens side after he got out the car
" yeah , the gyms bigger , same with the living room , I extended isaacs room a bit , malia has a room now , but I haven't built in the bathroom , ethan still has a room , he uses it when he comes to town without anyones knowledge, aidens room is untouched , and there's lots of places that have been extended , I'm just focusing of parish's room currrently since he's gonna move in permanently once it's done , so in a few weeks ", benji informed her , and she smiled brightly at everything he said
" we're all living here after everything still ", she guessed , surprising Mason and kira completely, kira was confused and caught off guard , why didn't anyone tell her this
" yeah , after college you'll come back and work close by , by then I would have built in all 4 or more rooms , you , Scott , stiles and kira , but it kinda depends if they stay in couples , stiles probably wouldn't mind to stay with malia , same with Scott , but they love there rooms , so it would be hard to convince them, but it would be the same to convince my cub to let me make him his own room, he'd probably never use it tho", benji shrugged and started to make his way up the stairs
" it's a nice idea ", Lydia commented smiling , she hoped it would come to life in the future
" can we have pancakes ", Liam asked , voice muffled slightly from speaking into benjis arm
" I want pancakes too", Isaac called from his room
" sure , do you want chocolate chip", benji offered , and picked Liam up by the hips to carry him , and Liam just wrapped himself around the older male like a koala
" yes ", malia called from the bathroom , obviously listening too them
" Lydia , can you get the stuff from the cubaord and I'll get the stuff from the fridge ", Ben asked as he let Liam sit on the side , and kira sat on a stool while Mason stopped beside them and still looked around in awe , similar to what kira was doing , but she was still in surprise that they were planning for her to live here , and she didn't even know.
The three watched as Lydia and benji cooked pancakes , cut up fruit , and got out toppings and sauces to go on top of the pancakes , they had made both chocolate chip ones and plain vanilla ones , both on separate plates , and Liam dropped down from the side
" Isaac , come help set the table ", he called out and started to go to a cubbaosrd so he could get some plates out , it had become a rutoine when lots of people stayed over through the summer , which was most people , Lydia was out on vacation or studying through the summer so they barely saw her while kira had been taken to New York with here parents and barely communicated with the pack , both girls realised how much they'd missed out on by how in sync everyone else was and the routines that seemed to fall into place for certain people , how isaac and Liam set the table , and Scott rushed down to help benji put the food onto it , and not long after stiles and malia came in casually , benji naturally took place at the head of the table while Scott sat on the opposite end , isaac beside him with Liam beside benji , malia and stiles sat next to eachother beside isaac with stiles ending up next to benji opposite Liam , Mason sat next to Liam , and kira next to him with Lydia next to her and beside Scott .
Benji had made a plate for Liam before making himself one and everyone else just dished themselves up plates .
