It was the middle of the night, Champ had woken up, feeling rather scared.
Champ:(Why do I keep having the same dream?)
Champ looked around, seeing that Grace was still sleeping, along with Matthew, who was sleeping on the Rockruff's back. Champ sighed as he walked outside, wanting to get some air.
Champ:I wish you were here, dad, I could really use your help right now…
???:Champ?
Champ saw that Marshall had woken up and was coming over to him.
Champ:Hey big bro.
Marshall: What's wrong?
Champ looked away, not wanting to talk about it. Marshall placed a paw on Champ's back.
Marshall: It's okay, you can tell me.
Champ:Every night, I have the same dream of the final moments I had with my dad.
Marshall:Have you told Matt?
Champ:No, I don't want him to worry.
Marshall:How about you come sleep with me in my puphouse?
Champ nodded his head as he followed Marshall into his puphouse. The two got comfortable, as Champ rested his head against Marshall's chest.
Champ:Thanks for letting me sleep with you.
Marshall:Of course, you are my little brother after all.
Champ smiled and licked Marshall's face.
Marshall:How are things between you and Grace?
Champ: Pretty good actually.
Marshall: Maybe you two will kiss one day.
Champ: Maybe…
Marshall:Did you hear that Rocky's brother is coming over?
Champ: Brother?
Marshall:It's an adoptive relationship.
Champ: Oh, that's cool, can't wait to meet him.
Marshall:His name is Joshie.
Champ:Cool.
Marshall then noticed that Champ had fallen asleep.
Marshall:(Chuckles) Good night, little brother.
The next day, Champ woke up, seeing that he was by himself inside Marshall's puphouse. Champ walked around, seeing that the pups were waiting for someone.
Rocky: He's almost here!
Champ:(Giggles) You seem excited, Rocky.
Rocky:I know.
???:Hey guys!
They saw that a snow-kid had arrived at the Lookout.
Rocky: Jo-Bro!
Rocky tackled Joshie and licked his face.
Joshie:(Giggles)
Joshie stood back up and looked at Champ.
Joshie:Who might you be?
Champ walked over to Joshie.
Champ:The name's Champ!
Joshie patted Champ's head. Matthew and Grace then walked outside.
Grace:So, you must be Joshie?
Joshie:Yep, and you are…?
