While the pups were eating, Champ continued to think about the voice from earlier. Matthew, who seemed rather concerned about his best friend, walked over to him.
Matthew:Hey Champ?
Champ looked down at Matthew.
Champ:Hey buddy, need something?
Matthew:You look worried, is something bothering you?
Champ, not wanting his little friend to worry, gently pats him on the back and licks his face.
Champ: I'm alright buddy.
Champ then walked outside. Marshall looked at Champ's bowl, seeing that he didn't eat much.
Marshall: Matthew?
Matthew:Ever since he told me that I have Autism, he's been acting strange.
Joshie looked at Rocky.
Joshie: What's wrong with Champ?
Rocky: I'm not sure, Jo-Bro.
Joshie looked at Matthew, who looked very worried. Marshall lowered his head, gently nudging Matthew a little.
Marshall:Come on, you need to eat something.
Joshie decided to go outside, seeing that Champ was just laying down next to Marshall's puphouse.
Joshie:Hey Champ.
Champ:Oh, hey Joshie.
Joshie:Is something wrong?
Champ:I don't want to talk about it, just go back inside.
Joshie sat down next to Champ and started rubbing his back.
Joshie:It will make you feel better if you talk about it.
Champ:(Softly Chuckles) You sound like Matt.
Champ:(Sighs) Every time I go to sleep, I keep remembering the last moments I had with my dad.
Joshie: You're dad?
Champ:His name was Bolt, it's a bit complicated to talk about.
Joshie:Oh.
Champ couldn't help but smile at Joshie as he licked the snowkid's face.
Joshie:(Giggles)
Champ:In time you will understand more.
Joshie:I hope I do, you, Matthew, and Grace kinda confuse me.
Champ:(Giggles) Yeah, we tend to that to people, especially Matthew.
Joshie:No kidding.
Champ:Come on, let's head back inside.
Champ followed Joshie into the Lookout and saw that the pups had finished eating and were now playing Pup-Pup Boogie.
Marshall:Hey Champ, your bowl is still over there if you want to eat now?
Champ:Sure, where's Matt?
Marshall:Oh, he's with Ryder right now, but don't worry, he's safe.
As Champ started eating, he noticed that Grace had come over.
Champ:Need something?
Grace:(Sighs) I'm worried about you, Champ, and so is Matthew.
Champ: I've just been having a lot on my mind lately.
Grace:Does it have something to do with your past?
Champ:(Chuckles) I guess there is nothing I can hide from you?
